Incredibly easy to set up and highly knowledgeable staff providing support throughout the implementation process. We had a relatively simple plan and the OT team made the process easy enough for me to set up on my own, without the help of external consultants or other costly implementation resources. Would highly recommend this to any company looking to migrate into a cost-effective, robust platform, that still provides great customer support and ease of implementation. With that said, the implementation and support teams were incredibly helpful in patiently walking me through new tools and reports as I was using them for the first time. Prior to implementing OT, we were managing the employee RSU issuance in excel, which can be very succeptible to human error and incorrect calculations. The product is designed in such a manner that it can present a rather complex long term incentive landscape in a very simple and concise manner so that all our eligible population (including front line workers as well tech employees) can understand their current equity awards. Furthermore, the support team is going above and beyond (more than any other equity administration company I worked with) to understand our plan and to partner with us in its management. The interface for OptionTrax is far more streamlined and easy to use than the previous vendor, Computershare, and their customer support has been a huge improvement. The reporting is less robust and documentation is not as robust as we might hope, but their customer support does offset some of that frustration. Overall, I am happy we made the switch! I have only been using the software for a few months, so I am still relatively new and learning its capabilities. That being said, so far I have found that the user interface is very simple (in a good way) and clear. In comparison to other systems I have used for equity management, all of the site areas are easy to navigate and seem to end up being what I expected them to look like / be able to do. The only thing so far I would like to see is the ability to have a dedicated support rep for more involved issues (other than routine items that pop up day to day). OptionTrax has provided discipline in our equity management processes, and comprehensive insight into our grants and related finances. Implementation required a good deal of work, but all of it was something we needed to do - and was beneficial to our practices in the long run, so well worth the time spent. Now our processes are better defined and integrated into our daily routines. OptionTrax includes reporting designed to calculate finance and equity disclosures for our SEC filings, so it has also simplified our compliance practices. That also gives us increased confidence in the accuracy of our disclosures. Customer support is responsive and catches items that we may have otherwise missed. I use OptionTrax almost daily. The participant portal functions are a great benefit to our employees too, provide transparency to them and allows us to manage compliance (such as blackout windows). Some complicated and unorthodox grants have been difficult to fit into the system, but that is to be expected. OptionTrax worked with us to make them work. That has led to many and different types of grants, vesting, etc. OptionTrax gives us a single place to manage grants and also can help serve as a check against how to best structure them.
