As per the title, there's a reason so much of the iGaming industry uses Optimove as their CRM platform of choice. If you feed the data in to it, Optimove's system can offer a world class granular, segmentation recommendation. My biggest gripe about Optimove is the over reliance on "Uplift" for reporting purposes. Whilst I agree that using a comparative performance calculation against a Control group is a good way of measuring how a campaign performs, sometimes it is important to easily see the raw data for a campaign. For example, if you're running 20 granular campaigns targeting 1-time-depositors, it would be good to easily export total deposit amounts across all campaigns over a set period. At present you can see the depositor count and uplift per campaign, but to get total deposits, you'll need to manually access and count each campaign. What I like best is having direct access to a vast amount of data without needing to rely on our BI software or colleagues for support, which can be time-consuming. The integration process was quite lengthy, and we encountered some initial teething problems. However, now that everything is up and running, there's very little I dislike about the platform. The platform's analytics and segment-building capabilities have saved me considerable time, and the improved personalization of our emails has led to better engagement and more targeted campaigns. It can be very daunting for new users, though they do have a good acadamy for the basics. Optimove is very data dependant, can be frustrating when ETL's fail or there is data missing.
