Optimove has a long road of improvements behind it, over the 8 years I have been using it. One thing is simply being on the receiving end of the updates, but it is wholly another experience being actively involved in the feedback and evolution of the product! This is where Optimove has put a lot of effort in with their customer serive ans customer sucess managers - and really is unparalleled amongst the suites of software I'm using for my work. Proper CS care is expensive, and I am sad to see a lot of companies moving away from human communication in favor of chatbots and other nonsense, which merely are automated forms of FAQs (and that drives me nuts when you need real help from a real person in the know). Please keep your approach to CS - it is the longer road, but definitely the right thing to do! **What do you dislike about Optimove?** The initial learning curve can be daunting, especially building your instance around your data, but Optimove's data team are really top guns here, so everything will be sorted! As with every huge cloud based software suite, there are downtimes and timeouts, but these most likely are external infrastructure issues and have always been promplty solved. Top job, nothing to complain about, really! **What problems is Optimove solving and how is that benefiting you?** Optimove provides me with all the segmentation and targeting needs, as well as automating routine daily tasks. It is the heart of our B2C communication and one of the most versatile we have seen. After 8 years of usage there are still features and options we are yet to discover! We enjoyed being able see all the campaigns we scheduled out in an easy-to-view manner. The new view was touted to be something amazing and that would essentially be able to provide us that same experience if we modified it with filters. And in theory, it could, but it was never quite the same and I often experienced glitches in statuses of campaigns in that new campaign view. Note: Trisha was an amazing point-of-contact for us and is much appreciated **What do you dislike about Optimove?** Toward the end of our time with Optimove is when things started to break down more frequently and I think that's when communication probably did so as well. For example, during our 2022 Thanksgiving campaign, a key campaign, something happened where campaigns didn't launch as they should've. And that was not something on our end with the set-up of the campaign - it was a glitch within their system where we had to scramble to re-run certain campaigns. It would be one thing if that was a one-time thing, but things like that happened all the time. We'd schedule campaigns and wonder what was going to go wrong on the launch date. We'd always hear differing things and it seemed like Optimove's tech was always confused by what was happening to our campaigns. The customer support also wasn't the best there (nothing like Bloomreach/Exponea where we are at now). **What problems is Optimove solving and how is that benefiting you?** As noted in the previous question, we often had campaign glitches with little help from support. Wish there was a way to update existing templates when we make changes to the "master templates". When we have to do major updates such as changing the license number in the footer we need to manually update each campaign that uses that template, would be sweet if Optimove could do the changes to the affected area also in old templates built from the same "Master templates". **What problems is Optimove solving and how is that benefiting you?** Biggest benefit compared to previous ESP is definitely around reporting and how much of the campaign analyzis is handled by Optimove. Used to have to go to Tableau and other tools to see campaign uptake etc but in Optimove it's all within a few clicks of the campaign planner. ### 47. The tool takes some getting used to at first (locating certain reports etc.) but is mostly very user-friendly. I would like to be able to integrate more marketing channels more seamlessly, but we've had success with email, SMS and paid social. **What problems is Optimove solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have so much data at our fingertips and no longer need to write long SQL queries to extract data for basic analysis. Given the new views and access to our customer data, we're also forced to challenge internal assumptions we've long held about our customers.
