Unmatched Route Optimization—Worth the Higher Price for Efficiency and Reliability **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Anthony J S. | Executive Vice President of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2025 **What do you like best about OptimoRoute?** It makes the most optimized routes (pun intended) versus any other routing software I have tried yet. Also if a property is put in the wrong place I can move it and it saves the new location indefinitely. Lastly the ability to track our drivers location is invaluable in our industry, as it helps us to know when orders are being completed. **What do you dislike about OptimoRoute?** I'm going to have to say the price, it comes in at double or more than most other routing softwares, but I haven't found anything else as good as it so I'm sticking with tried and true. Anytime I have tried a cheaper routing software it's just as optimized, and time is money, so the lost time and money in inefficient routes keeps me going back to Optimoroute. **What problems is OptimoRoute solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem solved is knowing when and where our inspectors are throughout the day and their route. If I haven't heard back from an inspector and I don't see them on route then I know I need to get that work reassigned and I can do that early and reliably since I have confirmation from Optimoroute regarding where they are or aren't. The ability to add and remove orders while my inspector is on the road actively working is another key feature that I use all the time. **What do you dislike about OptimoRoute?** My only complaint is that a couple of years ago the price doubled with no warning. **What problems is OptimoRoute solving and how is that benefiting you?** I no longer have to figure out a workaround for Google Maps limiting me to only 10 stops in planning my routes. The option of being able to balance the order and having the option of adjusting the percentage of the balancing is great. Extremely user friendly once you get the hang of it. **What do you dislike about OptimoRoute?** Having to pay extra for analytics. It also tends to lag in the afternoons. Not too much though, but as a result i have to use a secondary tracking software just to keep up with my driver's whereabouts. **What problems is OptimoRoute solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problem of me having to manually plan my driver's routes.
