Extra responsive support regarding bugs, and receptive to feature ideas. Clean interface, good documentation.

**What do you dislike about Optimole?**

Honestly can't think of much except that there is maybe a few minor features I'd like to see. Like better integration with the WordPress dashboard and making replacing or renaming files easier.

**What problems is Optimole solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Image optimisation. Very useful for websites that frequently have new image content.

  ### 2. Best Tool For WordPress Websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya A. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Optimole?**

I am a WordPress website owner and plugins and themes already make my site heavy. I have used multiple plugins and services including ShortPixel and EWWW. But none come close to the might of Optimole.

My favourite part about Optimole was the straightforward dashboard that gives me information at a glance about my usage, billing, traffic, and various other metrics.

I use Cloudflare CDN, but the fact that this it is a CDN ensures helps better serve my geographically distinct userbase. I have used the free version in the past as well, and even that was quite robust.

I used it to lazyload images for better website loading times as well. The native tools help convert my images to WebP without consuming extra storage. This is especially advantageous to people with limited storage on their website hosting plans.

The compression levels are automatically adjusted to balance performance and speed. They say they use some ML algorithm to optimise compression, I never understood how it worked, but all I would say is it gets the job done.

**What do you dislike about Optimole?**

Everything happens on Cloud. This means even for the smallest images the server connects to cloud. For a low budget hosting owner, this is quite taxing for my limited bandwidth and I/O. I understand that even for on-device optimisation CPU/RAM are consumed. But, generally, the services are always capped at I/O and bandwidth rather than CPU, which makes Optimole not a good value for money.

Furthermore, I have personally faced some struggles with plugin compatibility with LiteSpeed Cache and various other plugins. But that might be just specific to me.

**What problems is Optimole solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I implement lazy load, reduce image sizes, server images in right format, to ensure a balance of speed and quality can be maintained. This ensures my website is optimised for SEO and potentially helps me rank my blog higher.

  ### 3. Customisable, Scalable, and Adaptable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milyin A. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Optimole?**

As a website owner, it was important for me to optimize my website for the best performance with Images being a critical part of the setup.

Optimole is an ideal candidate for my needs. Their easy to use dashboard is ideal to track performance, billing, and more. In addition, I love their WordPress integration. As a WordPress website owner, setting up their entire service was a piece of cake thanks to their plugin.

It helped me implement WEBP (A modern image format that is faster than JPG with better image quality.). The effortless conversion of all my old PNG/JPGs massively reduced file sizes.

Lazyload also optimised the TTFB for my site improving my overall performance scores on Google Page Speed Insights.

One feature, I particularly love about Optimole is Watermarks. As a site with lots of User Generated Content, I frequently need to ensure my Content is not stolen. With Optimole I can add watermark to all my images making them tracable and more detectable.

In case of site migrations or downtime, I can quickly download all my existing images on Optimole Server as a ZIP file.

My website server is located in India, but our audience is global. So, their global CDN network ensures that my images are cached in servers across the globe, and the user gets the images served from the nearest server saving time.

**What do you dislike about Optimole?**

While the API and plugins are quite robust, it is still a complicated tool. Without proper knowledge of various performance parameters and technical terms. On the cost side as well, its bit on the expensive side. I use a Shared WordPress hosting, so the Optimole is way too expensive for me. Though, it is the best, it is not exactly a good value for money.

**What problems is Optimole solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a website owner, converting customers and ranking high on Google are critical for me. To achieve the same I need excellent loading times, minimum time to first paint, and overall reduces file sized for my webpages. Optimole helps me achieve that my optimising all my images for maximum performance while still being reliable.
