DSS OptimAPS is a flexible production scheduling and optimization system, It uses a unique linear programming algorithm to optimize the production schedule for the lowest possible cost and time.
The calculations also take changeover times (e.g. down- and up-tooling, material heating) and cycle times into account.
DSS OptimAPS is also capable of performing deviance analysis based on real-time data (e.g. incoming new, high-priority order) and proposing a modified production plan based on this.
