"Help in scan files before using them and check for hidden malware"
4/5
What do you like best about OPSWAT Filescan?

1. The website has an easy GUI that you can simply browse and select or drag and drop the file, so the normal uploading files experience, is nothing complex.

2. It's fast (Of course based on the file size).

3. Provides a report that you can download then use as a prove or share with a friend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

1. Maximum file limit size is only 100MB, in most cases, this will be sufficient but with large games (exe files or zip files) I think this limitation will then not work.

2. Advanced features require that you log in, however, I don't see this necessary.

3. To upload a file you have to have it local in the first place which is a risk on its own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complete File analysis solution- FileScan.IO"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OPSWAT Filescan?

Exposing vulnerabilities and threats within a file (Indicators of compromise) and showing detailed analysis of every function and API call within a file.

In the end, it gives a clear verdict if the file is malicious, suspicious, or clean, which quickly helps to decide whether to trust the file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

There is no defintion/description of the vulnerabilities which are detected. A little explanation/definition should be given with a question mark symbol or "i" symbol, such that when you hover over the symbol, the vulnerability's definition will appear. It is a necessary feature that is missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"You can never be too safe"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OPSWAT Filescan?

We began using FileScan.io after receiving suspicious attachments. It is an excellent addition if you download files from sources you don't completely trust (which should be all of them). It's a minor inconvenience, especially considering how much trouble it can save you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

There's nothing to dislike. No single solution can guarantee total safety. Don't let any software, however advanced, lull you into a false sense of security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"easy to scan files and websites"
5/5
What do you like best about OPSWAT Filescan?

I can put in a link or a file and scan it easily Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

I need a way to know about the file before I download it. Do y'all have a wiki? Also, not a dislike, but a prominent button to scan another, or scan again would be nice, also the ability add a google or excel sheet full of links, and to scan multiple files at once. What do you like best about OPSWAT Filescan?

This software is incredibly easy to use, and would not need to provide instructions to almost anyone to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

Given im using the web based application, it may be slow to upload larger files - but this is probably more of a web speed issue than the actual software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Filescan.IO Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OPSWAT Filescan?

Filescan.io analyses malware in our files with in-depth threat analysis techniques. It can also be used to detect any malware over a URL or any particular link you provide to scan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

It is an API-driven framework, so the risk of performance issues can arise if API cannot handle the file formats or the size of the files provided. However, most of the formats and file structures are supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
