FileScan.IO is extremely quick in generating a report, which contains a high-level overview of extracted IOCs, matched YARA rules and threat indicators. The execution graph and adaptive dynamic analysis (e.g., to bypass geofencing) make it a stellar experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

They are still missing a private cloud (SaaS) commercial offering. Otherwise, the community edition is fantastic and we are discussing integration of the on premise product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and efficient protection for microentrepreneurs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OPSWAT Filescan?

As a microentrepreneur, I am always on the look out for several suppliers that balances low prices but quality effects for my cleaning business. With my email in public, I get solicitations/offers on a daily basis - and with me out of the office at times with limited connection, sometimes my email's antivirus scanning does not work. With this however, I can simply have the files scanned before I open it to protect myself from any breaching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

This may seem different / petty, but with plenty of phishing / hacking efforts using very direct and vague names, I was also hesitant to try it at first. But through the recommendation of a friend, I tried it, and was very happy with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FileScan.IO provides a free service for scanning files or domains for malicious activity based on user reports. Furthermore, the service cross-checks with other services to ensure the validity of the data gathered. The best part of FileScan is that it offers both a detailed and rough report of the scan, giving great insight into the threat types and an in-depth showcase of Indicators of Compromise, File details, and much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OPSWAT Filescan?

Given that the service is free and does its job as listed in the page description, there is nothing I dislike about it. However, one minor improvement of increasing filesize would be grand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
