**What do you dislike about Opsera?**

The tool does not offer an option to create Git branches from the tool UI directly. It does not offer a way to get detailed errors when jobs fail. There is no way to group pipelines or create customisable views. Opsera does not allow developers to use the same pipelines simultaneously. Also, it does not update job status in real time, so sometimes there is a difference in job status and what is shown in the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Opsera:**

Know your use cases since no tool can solve all the problems. From a Salesforce perspective, the tool offers plenty, and with a appropriate branching/version control strategy, it can streamline deployments and make it easier to validate and deploy Production.

**What problems is Opsera solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Opsera we sought to solve the problem of random deployments by developers to instances. With proper branching and planning, since we use Github, we are able to deploy faster and with lesser merge and code coverage issues since Opsera gives an option to include test runs during individual deployments. This has helped overall delivery to a great extent.

  ### 33. Pipeline Blueprint feature offered by Opsera is incredible for our AWS Pipeline Comparisons

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rithika G. | Cloud Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Opsera?**

Opsera has the best features to compose customized pipelines with the help of its workflow builder comfortably. It simply promotes gestures such as drag & drop, cloning of pipeline, reusing a portion from the script, and orchestration of pipeline templates. We can add multiple stages to our pipeline for implementing our application builds, unit testing cases, approval hierarchy gates, and platform deployments in our AWS environments.

**What do you dislike about Opsera?**

Till now, I'm satisfied with the provisions that Opsera offers for my pipeline requirements. I find it very useful to use to incorporate my build dependencies in my parent/child pipelines which is quite a challenging task to do. It complies with our client standard operating procedures and provides effective staging capabilities to our AWS resources.

**What problems is Opsera solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opsera helps compose our AWS pipeline through its Pipeline Blueprint framework. We prepare various Jenkins pipeline deployments in our AWS platform, and each of them is carried out through the visibility obtained from Opsera. It offers effortless debugging of our multi-line pipeline scripts from its side-by-side feature, and it's easy to identify a particular pipeline from various test & prod pipelines thanks to its lookup feature. Our pipeline workflows are in JSON format, and Opsera seamlessly connects with our Enterprise Git repository so that the changes that we make are effectively reflected in our repository through its bi-directional sync feature.

**Official Response from Gilbert Martin:**

> Hi Rithika, thank you for the kind words and feedback! We're happy that you can clone pipelines and re-use portions from scripts to make pipeline templates. If you are interested, we recently launched a new capability called GitCustodian. It may help you with your "Shift-Left" strategy by helping you find secrets in code. Such as your AWS tokens. If you'd like to see a demo or need help with anything else, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at support@opsera.io

  ### 34. Opsera is one of the best tool for deployment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddhesh D. | System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Opsera?**

I like the tool very much. It is highly recommend to do deployment using Opsera for all Salesforce user.

**What do you dislike about Opsera?**

Impact analysis using Bitbucket/VSCode. Impact analysis should be performed in Opsera like Flosum. Also Branch creation with ORG not with master branch just like flosum.

**Recommendations to others considering Opsera:**

Good Tool for deployment

**What problems is Opsera solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a great tool for deployment but need to do some changes. Impact analysis should be performed in Opsera like Flosum. Also Branch creation with ORG not with master branch just like flosum.

**Official Response from Gilbert Martin:**

> Siddhesh,

Thank you for the fantastic feedback! We continue to add and enhance our capabilities in our solution. We've listened to your feedback, and we will look into branch creation. Before the end of the month, we will have Git merge conflict resolution for Salesforce if that's of interest.

  ### 36. Caters to most of the needs , ahead of it's cotemporaries.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Opsera?**

The drag & drop feature & unified interface make Opsera a user-friendly & convenient tool. It saves a lot of time & provides hassle free experience.
The pipelines are well structured which improve the operation efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Opsera?**

There are still a couple of component type that are missing or aren't easy to find. So at times you need to resort to using an xml instead of the drag & drop feature provided by the orchestration platform.

**What problems is Opsera solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The efficiency & productivity has definitely gone up ever since we switched to Opsera. It provides a much effective & smooth experience than other CI/CD platforms / tools.

**Official Response from Gilbert Martin:**

> Thank you for your excellent review. We continually enhance our solution and build new capabilities to empower and help you achieve more efficiencies. We'd like to hear more about any feature requests you'd like to see. Please reach out to us at support@opsera.io.

  ### 37. Made salesforce deployment easy..!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Opsera?**

It's been quite a few months since I started using this tool. Quick and easy initial configuration, Gives much more flexibility for validation, & deployment of the package. and its integration with various tools made us a one-stop solution for all our CI/CD processes.

**What do you dislike about Opsera?**

I think, reporting and error logging could have been better

**What problems is Opsera solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, for our deployment or multiple orgs, we need to manually push our changes, and create the package and deployment to each target instance one by one, With this tool, we can do it with a couple of clicks

  ### 38. Opsera is the only tool that provides Value stream KPIs with thresholds and actionable intelligence.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sundaresh R I. | Technical Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Opsera?**

I like Opsera over Harness and Xebialabs for its ability to orchestrate any CI/CD tools for SDLC, IaC and SaaS based applications like Salesforce/snowflake/AEM without the need of writing any code. Isn't that cool?

**What do you dislike about Opsera?**

Though we don't need to write a single line of code to have a pipeline running, it will be excellent if Opsera can provide some SDK's for developers looking to build integrations on their own for specific use cases.

**What problems is Opsera solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opsera's orchestration platform has helped in increasing our engineering productivity by automating everything end-end. The Unified insights feature acts as a great observability platform by providing insights into our ci/cd pipelines and infrastrucure performances and helps with the required data and metrics to perform custom analysis and make the right decisions.

  ### 39. Automates deployment and other processes

Opsera provides great integration for the CI/CD pipeline in a declarative format. This allows engineers and product owners who are not coders to constuct useful interpretations of which tests they need and when.

**What do you dislike about Opsera?**

The part I most disliked was having to construct some of my own dashboards. While the information is integrated, some of the narrative assimiliation still required more action from me.

**What problems is Opsera solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving ways to integrate multiple tools across my CI/CD pipeline. The integration and scope makes it possible to rapidly add new tools as needed to avoid vender lockin.
