Opper AI is the European AI gateway for agents. One API key gives you access to 700+ models across 30+ providers, all modalities, at the providers' own rates with no token markup. The gateway is OpenAI SDK compatible, so migrating means changing your base URL and API key. Streaming, tool calling and prompt caching pass through unchanged. Pass a fallback model list per request and you are only billed for the response that succeeds. When you need more than routing, turn on the control plane. Route sets default models per org, project or function so you can switch models without a redeploy. Observe scores every generation with an LLM judge. Steer uses those scores to optimize prompts automatically. Guard handles PII masking, content filtering and output validation. Comply enforces model allowlists by provider and region, budget caps and retention controls. Built in Stockholm, hosted in the EU, GDPR compliant. No per-seat fees and no minimum spend.
