And where Opera stands out from other browsers is the included free VPN thatis very helpful for those moments that you need to keep your online privacy and by defult comes with the add bloker and anti tracker activated. **What do you dislike about Opera?** It´s contraditory but one of the aspects that I don't like is that opera comes with too many incentives to inadvertently compromise your privacy. For example, just after downloading Opera allows you to create an opera account with Facebook, and by doing that you are allowing Facebook and their third party cookies in your browser. **Recommendations to others considering Opera:** By default is a fast and secure browser but if you really care about your privacy I'll sugest avoiding the Facebook messenger / Watsapp / Instagram integration displayed on the left side of the browser. **What problems is Opera solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use the Opera browser, to test and debug how the websites and web apps I code look and work on that browser. It's also lightning fast and secure. It's a much better experience than using Google Chrome. **What do you dislike about Opera?** I don't like that the back page button is located in a drop down menu. This means that in order to go back a page I must first tap the menu button and then tap the back page button. Two buttons tapped in order to go back one page. Every other modern browser has a back page button that does not require an additional step. The back page button is one click away with every browser but opera. Seems like a trivial issue but it can slow down productivity for some, including me. **What problems is Opera solving and how is that benefiting you?** With thier integrated web3 crypto wallet built directly into the wallet, we no longer need extra wallet extensions like metamask or tronlink (for lack of a better example). Feels comfortable to use in less outdoor light. 5) Option to enable or disable WebRTC feature which is a blessing as most of the browsers do not give this specific accessibility at large to the users. 6) Screenshot feature is very useful when I have to take screenshots of a website to make a document as chrome and Mozilla do not offer this and I usually have to use Print Screen to take but with Opera, I easily take the screenshots with ease and with whatever area I want in the shot. **What do you dislike about Opera?** Till this time, I haven't had many issues with Opera, using over 3 years, however, a couple of things I do not like much: 1) Sometimes when multiple tabs are opened, Opera freezes and suddenly crashes for no reason. 2) Upon opening multiple tabs, Opera slows down. I have 6 GB RAM and a 3 GHz processor but then also I face this issue. 3) If I set up www.google.com as per the first page to open and not the home page, Opera browser takes time to load and open the browser. And even it opens then if I click on Gmail, then it slowly loads the account which sometimes irritates me. There are no internet issues as I have an Airtel Connection with 100 MBPS speed (download & upload). 4) If by mistake I click on the Screenshot icon, then I have to select the area for the screenshot, there is no option to cancel it. to cancel it, I have to select the area, and then it gives me three options out of which one is to cancel the execution. **Recommendations to others considering Opera:** Please look at the issues I have faced and work on them. I have been using Opera since the time I had my first Symbian Phone from Nokia. It has a very low RAM consumption and CPU usage, making it much quicker and smoother to use compared to Chrome and Firefox. Opera has a built-in VPN and Adblock. The built-in VPN has several different locations that you can choose. There is also an option to select the best optimal location that Opera will pick to give you the best speeds possible. You can see the IP address of the location you choose in the same menu and the data you've used while the VPN is turned on. Opera is based on the Chromium project, and it offers great customization.
