It can discover almost everything and creates relationship among discovered CIs and create a topology modelling. You can setup uCMDB server with multiple probes and it can be distributed across all regions to collect information locally and ship to central node. Its scale-able. It discovers various pieces from hardware, software, custom application and tie them together to create a map using ASM (Automated Service Modelling). It works agent less and with agent solutions. **What do you dislike about OpenText Universal Discovery & Universal CMDB (UD/UCMDB)?** Most of the features are very good so hard to say what I don't like. **Recommendations to others considering OpenText Universal Discovery & Universal CMDB (UD/UCMDB):** This is very good discovery software available in the market. **What problems is OpenText Universal Discovery & Universal CMDB (UD/UCMDB) solving and how is that benefiting you?** uCMDB data is helpful with to correlate events.
