"LoadRunner solved our need for Automation and simplified our testing and saved time."
5/5
What do you like best about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

I like the simplicity of using the tool, the integration with reporting, graphs and the overall time it saves during testing phases. LoadRunner has not only helped the team be more accurate, complete and precise with testing we can cover more during our testing phase and provide detailed reporting to upper management on our testing status. Using LoadRunner allows us to focus on other areas of the project with the time saved during testing. Working with our developers also helps us to provide more testing coverage of the code using LoadRunner. LoadRunner has been very ease to learn and even our most beginner/junior level tester can learn the product and apply it to their testing tasks. Test case management is also a GREAT help, it helps us all to be more organized and we all follow the same setup and unlike sing word/ms office we all have the same layout. What do you dislike about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

I don't like the pricing and the amount of time it takes sometimes to resolve issues when the product encounters errors and we need to get HP involved for support. There have been times where we had to wait days to get an issue resolved only to realize all we had to do was restart the server or refresh the cache on the HP server. "HP Loadrunner review"
4/5
What do you like best about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

It is a very powerful scripting tool to best record user actions programmatically with a flexible and versatile scripting engine to extend tests with success-failure checks, thus making testing more intelligent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

Complexity. LoadRunner is not simple to learn by installing it and "doing it". Especially when using different data sources to do cross measurements of system performance. Performance testing with a tool like this requires planning and skilled resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best in Performance Testing and Load Testing"
5/5
What do you like best about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

Best perfomance testing tool.

Test results generated by the tool are really awesome

Best in class test run features. A truly professional performance tester can produce a lot of benefit out of it.

Test case design and debugging is very easy.

The coolest feature in the tool is that Performance tester can adjust the applied load on the go. In many of the other industry leading tools, we have set those parameters prior to the test and it cant be changed at any point in time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

The programming language is not that very popular. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My 8 years association with HP Loadrunner"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

I believe demand is always directly proportional to quality of the product which is why I believe Loadrunner has been on top of the line thorough these many years of it's journey. HP Loadrunner is very user friendly, flexible and highly customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?

I cannot specifically point out to a single or specific dislike. I have used many open source and paid tools through my career. Apart from the fact that cost of licensing is one big goal to choose LR; I find managing the C code for huge application (in terms of many tricky business cases) needs more expertise in coding and handling the tool.
