Nonintrusive, real-time performance monitors captures real-time performance data from every component of application infrastructure. Easy to monitor and implement tests across different machines. Also very easy to setup new machines and add to monitoring. Easy to configure changes to schedule or SLA to existing monitoring. Easy to customize notifications based on location, user, transaction, or other filters, **What do you dislike about OpenText Professional Performance Engineering?** Support can be lacking and unresponsive not an open schedule. In constant need of upgrades/patching. Support for old versions is lacking and constantly pushed in different directions when the tool is not meeting the needs. The inability to run custom code from a jar file for monitoring items not specific to a web based protocol and focused on for example oracle monitoring needs. **Recommendations to others considering OpenText Professional Performance Engineering:** Make sure this is compatible with your apps before considering bringing on the tool. **What problems is OpenText Professional Performance Engineering solving and how is that benefiting you?** Monitoring Issues Global networking issues Maintenance of remote machines in other countries Problems with networks in other countries using performance reporting from load runner we are able to justify increased bandwidth in other countries. After implementing those changes we are able to prove the need was actually needed and improvement of the application in a specific location. Allowed easy production support and root cause analysis including error logs from the system in the email notifications.
