What do you dislike about Opentext functional Testing?

It is a little pricy. Being more expensive than some alternative programs, it is sometimes hard to justify the expense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very good automation tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Opentext functional Testing?

HPE UFT (and previously HP QTP and before that Mercury WinRunner) has long been our main test automation tool of choice and underpins the majority of our regression testing activities. The versatility of it means it is also used to load data for the training department to use thus speeding up their work too. Without a robust automation suite, businesses would not be competitive in this day and age and for me, UFT helps to fulfill that need with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opentext functional Testing?

Very expensive tool for startup or small organization. HP should offer different payment plans and different package Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use "
4.5/5
What do you like best about Opentext functional Testing?

Reliability and ease of use. In recent versions starting with VS 2013 ultimate, I like the memory analysis features that are added under "Analyze" / Performance Profiler. You can use this to analyze memory post mortem. It has been added to debug so that memory usage can be analyzed during debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opentext functional Testing?

Though not the core product - Resharper can slow down development unless some features are turned off. Can we expect a substitute - a sleeker add on product ? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
