The service was no longer needed when we switched EHR systems. **What do you dislike about OpenText Fax (RightFax)?** There are several issues that we encountered throughout our time with OpenText RightFax. It was impossible to get clear communication and responses. We did not know who our account contact was so we spent lots of time emailing other individuals without success. When it came time to close our account, they continued to bill us in error. They have been unreasonable and unresponsive in order to get the issues resolved. Beware that you may be billed and unable to contest the incorrect billing practices. **What problems is OpenText Fax (RightFax) solving and how is that benefiting you?** They were helping us file faxes automatically but we still had a lot of manual labor required as well. ### 2. Used this product extensively for handling high volume of incoming and outgoing faxes. On multiple occasions, we have seen closed tickets or lack of response to tickets being opened. **Recommendations to others considering OpenText Fax (RightFax):** RightFax is one of the cheapest fax solutions out there, and with Fax being a dying breed, cost is what it is all about. **What problems is OpenText Fax (RightFax) solving and how is that benefiting you?** A robust Efax solution at a reasonable price was our reason to go with RightFax. This has allowed us to continue business with vendors who utilize fax, without the need for traditional fax lines and machines. ### 6. You no longer need to go to the fax machine, punch in the correct numbers and then hope it gets to the right place. With rightfax you can check to see what the status of the fax is throughout the whole process. **What do you dislike about OpenText Fax (RightFax)?** There is not really anything I do no like about it. Also consider sticking to v10.5 instead of going to 10.6 unless you need features that are not available in 10.5. Our 3rd party services support has steered us away from upgrading as they are seeing unreliability on the latest version. Exucom brings a wealth of knowledge to the implementation and support process and I highly recommend working with them to roll out your faxing solution. **What problems is OpenText Fax (RightFax) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eliminate legacy fax machines and associated costs for paper, ink and repairs. Streamline workflows by using APIs between RightFax and OnBase document imaging to associate medical documents with a patient's electronic medical record. ### 10. It can convert faxes to a variety of forms. It can be used to provide users a web portal or desktop version of faxing. **What do you dislike about OpenText Fax (RightFax)?** It seems rather sensitive to database disconnects. Rather than trying to just reconnect, it stay disconnected until you manually intervene.
