"New Tech Company Client to OpenText since 8/2021"

4.5/5

What do you like best about OpenText eDiscovery?

Intuitive/powerful platform paired with the technical consultants who know the pain points of a growing corporate ediscovery program and has solutions for them, either home-grown on the OT side or through partnerships. The document review team and platform project management cover all needs and are great to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText eDiscovery?

The process of migration and the pain associated with identifying issues with migrated data in terms of how mapping or other processing at our former vendor fits into the OT environment. Good news is that these challenges have been met with solutions that are repeatable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenText eDiscovery solving and how is that benefiting you?

ROI on the use of document review team and predictive coding are clear. We're in the process of addressing issues of frequent flyer data warehousing for cross-matter management, total visibility into our cases with real-time dashboards and easy nearline/online switching for hosting budget management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use"

4/5

What do you like best about OpenText eDiscovery?

I think one of the best things about OpenText Axcelerate is how easy it is to use. The review pane is foolproof in that it will not let a reviewer continue on without completing all of the items that need to be completed. This certainly gives me peace of mind, knowing that I have not forgotten to tag anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText eDiscovery?

The redacting functionality in particular within OpenText Axcelerate can be a bit clunky. Especially when I want to delete an area that I have redacted. It seems silly that I would have to click through each redacted area, via the arrow buttons, to reach the particular redaction area that I would like to delete. It would be much easier to be able to simply click on that particular area within my view screen and then click delete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering OpenText eDiscovery:

I would recommend OpenText Axcelerate for those who prioritize ease of the review process, and therefore speed and efficacy in completing e-discovery assignments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenText eDiscovery solving and how is that benefiting you?

OpenText Axcelerate makes it easy for large groups to complete document review work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Creating workspaces is simple and an easy way for keeping track of groups of documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText eDiscovery?

Workflow is a little hard to follow, but with training you can easily master it. With Recommind University, it's easy to figure out what you can do in the database and teach yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering OpenText eDiscovery:

Recommind is very open to sugestions on its user interface and overall product. They've really worked with our firm to get the program where it is today and we appreciate the effort they've put in to assist us in our eDiscovery work. The product is very sleek and impressive all around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenText eDiscovery solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cost savings by using the predictive coding. Lawyers love how simple it is to create a test batch and get predictive coding started so that you only have to review the most relevant documents to your case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
