"Not very User Friendly"

What do you like best about OpenText Documentum Content Management?

It has a lot of connecters, especially for specific industries like Oil and Gas Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Documentum Content Management?

The interface is not intuitive or user-friendly. For example, simple things like the "OK" button is placed on the top right-hand corner instead of the bottom left, where it generally should be. Navigating thru folders is also not very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If only core ECM capabilities are required (version control, workflow, archive, full text search) other products will satisfy your needs at a lower cost and with improved support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenText Documentum Content Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

Most recently the business process was the submission (from multiple sources), review\approval, and portal access of forms received a major brokerage firm.

What do you like best about OpenText Documentum Content Management?

I worked closely with the Implementation of Documentum Enterprise Content Management System for insurance brokerage lifecycle.

Few of the key features are

- Maintain proper workflow processes.

- Version control (History Management).

- Manage compliance standards.

- Easily scalable to large number of users.

- Maintain document meta data attributes.
