HP data protector **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2016 **What do you like best about OpenText Data Protector?** HP data protector has many integration components for all sorts of systems, SQL , exchange, Sharepoint, etc.. **What do you dislike about OpenText Data Protector?** all the different components needed to make it work with various system can sometimes be confusion and often one component or another will not work properly and due to this you have to TRY many different paths to get the proper support person who knows the component you are dealing with. many time I had to rely on GOOGLE search to find the solution because HP support took too long to get to the right person. **Recommendations to others considering OpenText Data Protector:** make sure you include everything you will need and all components in your quote-- we found we needed several additional and COSTLY licenses in addition to what we were originally told **What problems is OpenText Data Protector solving and how is that benefiting you?** it does provide a backup solution for multiple systems over large WAN environment ### 3.
