Solved problem: It failed to generate session key (client key). Root cause: Cause to that it did not initialize in the RTOS (VxWorks) I was using and I need to initialize it explicitly by calling RAND\_add() function. What I like most about this tool is that it is free to use and free. we can help with the documentation to get started and start working.It is a bit complex at the beginning, we must take some time to study the documentation to be able to integrate it in a certain way, besides the updates of the versions can cause certain errors. What do you dislike about OpenSSL? Having to download and compile the latest release and doing regression testing. It can take anything from 5 mins to 2hrs having to recompile and integrate the latest release of the software. Recommendations to others considering OpenSSL: OpenSSL is a great security tool/framework. It's one of the first to come up with patches from SSL vulnerabilities and new features.
