"OpenSesame: Robust Training Content and a Truly Helpful Partner"
5/5
What do you like best about OpenSesame?

OpenSesame has an excellent database of learning and development content, and it’s a valuable resource for training—especially for organizations that don’t have the capacity to author their own materials. OpenSesame also continues to evolve, adding more modern training resources and improving functionality over time. For example, they now offer options to customize courses, including features like pre-tests and test-out options for some content. On top of that, OpenSesame has a team of genuinely helpful people who will partner with your organization and consult with you to help you be as successful as possible. What do you dislike about OpenSesame?

There really isn't anything I dislike about OpenSesame. They are great to work with! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic and getting better after a year."
5/5
What do you like best about OpenSesame?

After more than a year, I can say their customer service is fantastic. They are prompt and always willing to adapt to to meet our needs. They hold monthly customer meetings to keep everyone current with new content and content creators. I am excited for the customization of the content to be able to include our branding and direct links to needed documentation within the content. I love that I get notifications, saying this content will be retiring and here are three choices we recommend. They actually are doing what they say in keeping their library fresh and up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenSesame?

OpenSesame now has three different ways to search their database. A standard search box, speak with one of their in-house experts, or use their AI curator. We have used all three, and good results from tough situations when asking their experts and their AI curation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Daniel Byun of OpenSesame

Glad to hear that you are getting prompt answers to all of your questions and enjoying the use of multiple languages!

Glad to hear you are able to refine your searches and finding our curated lists. Please continue to let us know how we can improve.

"Fantastic User Experience with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about OpenSesame?

I use OpenSesame for curating course material and it does a great job of making learning fun and engaging. It provides opportunities to showcase different ways to bring new content to our organization, helping maintain a high learning culture and keeping things fresh. However, what stands out to me the most about OpenSesame is their customer service. I always have access to a team member whenever needed, and I get quick answers to any problems or recommendations. The two-way communication is timely and extremely beneficial for the success of our learning. Additionally, the initial setup with OpenSesame was super easy, with their supportive staff answering all our questions as we navigated deeper into the content management. I also appreciate that OpenSesame is very forward-thinking by continuously adding new features that meet the emerging needs of our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenSesame?

I think with OpenSesame, the one thing that would be extremely beneficial is the ability to customize courses. Like, if we don't need the full two-hour course but just a twenty-minute segment, that customization would be super helpful. Also, a lot of the courses in OpenSesame have the same exact titles, which doesn't seem appealing to learners. It would be beneficial to customize the titles of courses as well. What do you dislike about OpenSesame?

It would be really helpful to have a billing section available directly within the account settings, so I can manage billing details from the same place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Access to High-Quality Courses with Smooth LMS Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about OpenSesame?

What I like most about OpenSesame is how easy it is to find high-quality courses on just about any topic without having to build everything from scratch. The variety is great, so you can quickly plug learning gaps with content that’s already well produced and ready to go. I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with LMS platforms, which makes launching and tracking training way simpler. Overall, it’s a super convenient way to scale learning programs without reinventing the wheel every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenSesame?

One downside is that with so many courses available, it can sometimes take a bit of digging to find the ones that really fit your audience. The quality is generally solid, but it can vary between publishers, so you still have to review content before assigning it. Some courses can also feel a little generic if you’re looking for something very specific to your company or industry. Overall, it’s a great resource, but it works best when paired with some internal, customized learning too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and Satisfying Experience"

What do you like best about OpenSesame?

OpenSesame makes learning easy from start to finish. Their platform is simple to navigate, so users can quickly find what they need without feeling overwhelmed. Getting started is just as smooth — the setup process is straightforward, and the system successfully saves teams a lot of time and frustration. What really makes OpenSesame shine, though, is their customer support. Their team is responsive, friendly, and genuinely cares about helping customers get the most out of the platform. Between the ease of use and great support, OpenSesame has built a reputation for making workplace learning both effective and effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenSesame?

There may be an occasional course that is difficult to find exactly tailored to what you are looking for, but this is typically an occurrence with any training platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
