Older system **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019 **What do you like best about OpenProj?** The fact that I can schedule meetings and appointments all on one system is very useful. Its very easy to use on laptop phone and various electronic devices for business etc. Easy to insert and edit documents photos as well. **What do you dislike about OpenProj?** What I dislike is that although this does so much there has not been an upgrade in some amount of time. So I will still recommend as everyone likes options and easy to learn and use systems but seriously a new updated version would be best. **Recommendations to others considering OpenProj:** If you want an easy to use system that works and gets the job done for planning and organizing your work and business this is pretty up there give it a try. **What problems is OpenProj solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was very unorganized so the fact that this system has a task management and calendar. This has helped me with my work at home and in the office. The de bug addition is very good as well no virus so all your information is safe. ### 2. It may be difficult at starting **Recommendations to others considering OpenProj:** Ots good use it. **What problems is OpenProj solving and how is that benefiting you?** Open source desktop management software helps to collaborate with team. ### 3. Somewhat Decent But Definitely Not Great **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2019 **What do you like best about OpenProj?** OpenProj is one of several different services that are currently available online for team and project management and organization. While I definitely think that using this with my team at my current organization was nice to use as it did list out all the things that each person was in charge of, the best part of OpenProj is that it allowed for accountability and more transparency among colleagues. **What do you dislike about OpenProj?** While there were some positives to using this tool, it was ultimately just not a nice tool to use because of how badly it is made. The interface of OpenProj is just unbearable and looks like something that was developed at least a decade ago. It's not fun to navigate around the site and it's just really hard to look at. I personally think that alternatives such as monday.com are much more visually appealing and easier to use and navigate around. **Recommendations to others considering OpenProj:** I personally did not like using OpenProj but I think that other organizations that are looking for ways to keep track of work or projects may find this more useful than I did. **What problems is OpenProj solving and how is that benefiting you?** The business problems that we attempted to solve with OpenProj was trying to create a more seamless collaboration experience for future projects as well as allowing for more accountability in the group.
