**What do you like best about Openprise?**

Openprise solves a considerable chunk of our data problem, from duplicates to list loading. I like that we can have one robust tool to solve those problems and more.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

I do think that the website/app portal can be a bit overwhelming. There are many features within Openprise that are not available to us based on the package we chose, which is totally fine, but I feel like they are still there and are just cluttering the space. Between the website and the app portal, it can get overwhelming, especially for new clients like us.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a  few data issues that we wanted to address with Openprise. The biggest issue was the list loading process that took us days to validate and load to Salesforce. We lose time and urgency when reaching out to valuable leads. With Openprise, we're able to automate most of the validation and even harness our own data to enhance and deduplicate. Now it takes us a few hours, or a day at most, to do the process. We're still finetuning the process based on our needs which is another thing that's good about Openprise! They listen and work with you on the problems you want to solve and are there for you along the way.

Message to Enterprise Application Leaders and the Office of the Chief Architect:

Think of OpenPrise as an enabler for over 50 to 100 capabilities that the enterprise will have to build through the various stages of growth such as Lead Management or Partner Management.   Don’t be stuck in the mud and unable to build capabilites and/or arm your lines of business with answers to some of their most pressing questions:

1/	How many partners have gone through our technical training and of those partners, what is the total ARR over the last 3 years?  And how much MDF have we disbursed to them over the same time period?

2/	What’s the best performing sales patch by zip code and how much marketing spend allocated to that zip code?

Tech Debt
I know OpenPrise offers powerful set of capabilities for Marketing teams for lead orchestration and data deduplication but it can help you reduce tech debt:  Identify leads, contacts, accounts with any conditions so you can make decision to purge or keep; reduce the size of your data and notice and improve performance of your CRM by eliminating run time errors.

M&A / Org Merge / Split Orgs
Route all data through OpenPrise , filter and match, then push it to where you need it to go.  I wish I had this when I did a Salesforce org merge in 2019.  That project nearly killed me!

Build Highly Differentiated Capabilities
Use OpenPrise to call a lead real time.  Yes, you heard that right.  When a lead is sent to you, auto-dial the prospect.  If you can imagine it, OpenPrise can help you build it.

Don’t let your App stack be the anchor holding you back from awesome-ness.  Be agile or your competitors will.  Get OpenPrise.

I'd like for our internal power users to be the primary people configuring OpenPrise.  They currently rely on OpenPrise to do the rule building and other configuration work.  OpenPrise should consider making the UI/UX easier for marketing and other power users to adopt.

Message to your Marketing folks:
You may have an immediate itch you need to scratch:  lead routing, data de-duplication but know that after your scratch that itch, OpenPrise can help you continue to build new, highly differentiated capabilities for different parts of the Enterprise - so don't be nearsighted.  think bigger than the fire of the day.

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

I like the variety of ways it offers to infer, enrich, clean up, and de-duplicate your data and then automate those functions. I've set up several automated jobs that routinely clean up our database. When I started using Openprise I couldn't access custom tables in Marketo through the tool, but they put it on their roadmap and now I am using a custom table in an automated job. It's so nice to work with a company that listens to your needs and implements such a feature.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

I wish there was a graphical user interface to better visualize what tasks are impacting a field. Also, sometimes the job errors are not very clear, but my customer support contact let me know they are working on improving this. Whenever I have shared feedback or requested a feature the support team has been very open to new ideas.

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

Openprise is very quick to get started, unlike so many tools. Their support is great and the tool has so many features. I would recommend it to folks with customer databases as a tool for making automated jobs for maintaining the cleanliness of the data, enriching it with inferred or purchased data and deduplicating the data. The more you apply the tool the more functions you find it can do.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cleaning and normalizing database attributes, inferring missing data based on other known data, de-duplicating leads while maintaining a user's communication preferences which is critical, and I've used it to reassign audiences from one category to split into two now twice. All of these I have been able to do in an agile style myself which has relieved IT and enhanced our company's marketing abilities and marketing intelligence.

Openprise is data orchestration at its finest. Openprise provides mutliple facets of improvement to our data. We've used the system to cleanse, gauge the health, create an Eloqua audit log, automate processes, fill data gaps, and more.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

The only negative is that there is a steep experience curve. The good news is that you work with a crackerjack team that will patiently train and guide you while you learn and become independent in the system.

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

Take a good look at your data and ask yourself, "can this be better?" Odds are, your answer is "absolutely." Pull together use cases of what you want to improve and challenge Openprise to provide a solution on how they'd solve the problem.

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

If there are some limitations in automation, data cleansing, or data manipulation on Salesforce, Openprise more than likely provides another solution to those needs. The tool has transformed the way our organization does lead routing and provides a plethora of templates and recipes to make the building process as simple as possible. Openprise support has also gone above and beyond for our organization to understand our project visions, and have offered prompt guidance for them. The team actively listens to the needs of their customers in a community conference and keeps us informed of upcoming features to support us.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

The user interface for the tool and the templates can take a few training videos to grow accustomed to. A few iterations of updates that include more help text, descriptions, and examples will come a long way in helping a user fully utilize and understand what Openprise has capabilities of doing.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used Openprise to more quickly and accurately route leads and create sales opportunities for our organization. We've been able to benefit tremendously from Openprise's data cleansing templates to normalize our Account and Contact data.

As an admin and daily user of Openprise, I can confidently say that it works exceptionally well for most data integration and integrity issues I've encountered.  Not only has it helped to solve our primary data concerns, but with the flexibility of the system, I am constantly finding ways to use Openprise to eliminate manual hours looking at spreadsheets.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Openprise to improve our data integrations between our marketing system (Marketo) and our CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).  With Openprise, we have solved common issues with the native Marketo/Dynamics integration, including translating GUID values from our CRM lookup tables to readable values in Marketo, comparing field data between systems to find and fix mismatches. Additionally, we use Openprise to automate the deduplication of contacts, auto-assign new marketing contacts to accounts in Dynamics, and keep our data clean and normalized.

With the Openprise Marketplace, we have improved the quality of our emailable contacts and improved overall response rates by running new email addresses through Briteverify and running contacts through additional Openprise filters to determine email eligibility. 

As a result of using Openprise, we have cut back significantly on the amount of time we spent manually updating our data and improved the overall usability of our systems by fixing common Marketo/Dynamics integration issues.

Hands down it's the support team. They are not only knowledgeable about their platform and capabilities, but they have invested the time to learn our systems, processes, and goals. I can bring them any problem I need to solve and they will provide several options on how to approach it. I consider my Openprise team as an extension of our team, not a vendor. The platform itself is extremely flexible, allowing us to use it for multiple scenarios.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

The only downside I've experienced is that any changes that we need to be made to a job, we have to submit a request for. We can not log in and make a change ourselves. But since our support team is amazing this is really not an issue.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rely on Openprise for dozens of jobs that wouldn't be possible if we needed to build and run in SFDC. We can get a lot accomplished without bogging down our SFDC instance. Openprise does a lot of our heavy lifting.

Flexibility to configure the platform to your business processes. In my past experience, I've seen company's purchase products and then change their business processes to make the newly purchased product "work." I like the fact that Openprise is flexible enough to fit my needs without needing to do change management each time.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

There's a specific mindset you must have as it relates to data to make full use of the platform so that I can see a higher barrier of entry for some people. 

Here's what I mean... let's say you want to solve an attribution problem. You may go to Openprise and ask for help expecting them to tell you what to do. Instead, Openprise may come back and ask you how do you want to solve your attribution problem. So in this example, you need to make sure you already have a high level idea of what you want attribution to look like for your company.

The major ones I'll highlight are:

-Opportunity Attribution

If you are looking for a robust solution to scale with your organization - Openprise is it!

Data standardization, deduplication, enrichment, and lead routing to start -- we also use it for territory reassignment and other field updates. Replaced our other lead routing solution with Openprise due to speed, and have seen a significant improvement in the speed of routing and thereby our response to the lead. The ability to route based on a very granular level has helped us get the right leads to the right rep faster.  Deduplication and data standardization have improved our reporting and conversion rates.

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

Great platform that enabled the integration of the marketing automation platform and the on-premise CRM, allowing us to maximize both systems' capabilities, mitigating the weaknesses in both. Until we found Openprise this wasn't possible at all.  The Openprise platform put the automation development into the hands of the business, rather than IT department, enabling us to try new things, learn and adapt quickly. The whole buying and onboarding process was simple. And the customer success team was second to none - knowledgeable and helpful for initial set up and as new procedures were automated and implemented.

Some of the help instructions could be more complete.  But CSM always there to advise.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrate marketing automation and on-premise CRM.  Enabled us to establish a lead handling and nurture infrastructure and process.

Openprise definitely helps to take away a lot of load from the destination system and has a lot of computation/data orchestration power !!! For data manipulation solutions whether in Salesforce or any system we tend to think the Openprise way if it does not have to be synchronous.

noting to dislike but Would like to see more 
- controls over data sorting feature before sending updates / 
- have direct filter for source data pull such as salesforce /

The Data Mechanic service and plethora of ways you can organize and manipulate data to achieve the desired business improvement results. Openprise can help cleanse, standardize, deduplicate data as well as  build process and test environments before implementing change to ensure business is not negatively impacted. Many departments in our organization have fed back noticeable improvements since we've implemented Openprise and they continue to show us new ways to improve how we display and analyze our data.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

The only dislike I can comment on is trying to understand the extensive data options and complex setup that is available! That is not necessarily a bad thing, because there is a way to use Openprise for every company, department or individual, but learning how to configure jobs is not my forte, hence the Data Mechanic service is a must for those who can't dedicate a full time position to administering the tool.

Ongoing data cleansing, enhancement, deduplication and organizing data in ways that can be consumed by all. Our company data quality has improved and we have learned other ways we can improve and continue to keep our data quality at a high standard.

Openprise has completely evolved the way we manage our data, from basic motions like standardization and deduping, to the most complex tasks like GDPR compliance and data enrichment. We've found the most value in Openprise in its ability to connect to key platforms in our tech stack and process millions of records through complex logic in a matter of minutes.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

The interface is sometimes difficult or tedious to navigate. For instance, when switching between viewing the output of a job and back to the update job screen, you have to click back to view all jobs and access the same job again.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've automated processes that we needed dedicated resources to perform manually on a daily basis. We've solved longstanding data duplication and standardization issues and created automatic data appending processes that allow for more accurate data segmentation and targeting.

I love the customer success team. Leigh Ann has been absolutely amazing to work with. She's kind, thoughtful, and always gets the job done. I also love how we can bring any issue we have to the table, and Openprise will help identify several solutions that they can provide. We are always looking for solution-oriented vendors, and Openprise is exactly that.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

Everything about Openprise is great, except for one thing which in my opinion is the user interface. The system isn't set up to be self serve. I always need a customer success person to implement changes, make updates, etc... I'm not sure if Openprise can become more user friendly for the common folk simply due to the complexities of everything that needs to get set up to properly create a job or a bot, but user simplicity would definitely be something to addd to the road map.

OpenPrise has helped us with many things such as -

1) Pipeline Attribution Model 
2) Connecting Salesforce data from one object to another 
3) Regional Mapping at the Account/Contact/Lead level in Salesforce

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

The possibilities when implimenting Openprise are seemingly endless and that is definitely my favorite part about the tool. If you have a data project or a need for a new or better data automation, Openprise can almost definitely help you complete that project more easily.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

There is definitely a learning curve to the platform. Some of the UI nuances are not as intuitive as a person with a background in marketing automation might think. However some time in the platform along with help from the Openprise data mechanic team has remedied this fairly quickly. I felt comfortable using the platform to do most functions with little assistance about 2 months into using the platform. The data mechanic team is very responsive and will help you learn everything you need to know, so this hasn't been a significant issue for some time.

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

Openprise is bar-none the top of the line in terms of data orchestration platforms. I truly believe it is so innovative that it deserves to be in it's own class of product because of this. I would not recommend using Openprise unless you have multiple use cases for it as you'll be overpaying for a platform to do perform at a fraction of it's capabilities. Openprise could legitimately compete with CDP vendors as well as integration middleware platforms, cleaning/deduping tools, and has tons of automation capabilities.

If you are considering Openprise, ask their team about any number of data projects/problems you can think of. You will probably be surprised to know how many of them their platform can help solve for.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Openprise we have:

-Automated lead to contact conversion with custom criteria that helps to match leads against existing contacts and accounts to prevent duplicates. This process also automates the creation of new accounts. This was the biggest initiative for our team as the process with Leandata often took 30-90 minutes to convert a lead to a contact for our SDR team's to begin working it. Our initial process in Openprise got that time down to 15-45 minutes. After completing that process to get something in place we set out to improve that time. We got it down to 5-10 minutes as the average conversion time with it rarely taking up to 15 minutes. This has been enormous for our follow-up time efforts. 

-Cleaned/normalized our lead, contact, and account objects in Salesforce and set automations to continually keep these objects clean

-Enriched Salesforce data. Because of Openprise's capability to match datasets to one another so well, we've been able to take on projects like enriching SFDC accounts with publicly available data en masse.

At first, the interface threw me off because it wasn't as "pretty"  as other competitors we were evaluating, but after testing and initial implementation I quickly realized it's not always about looks. After learning the basics I was quickly able to cleanse and de-dupe our data in our Salesforce CRM and the redundancy when it comes to saving copies of your data  reassures you that you can rollback changes if you make a mistake.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

As I stated before the looks could use some updating, but the functionality is great. The only real thing that I dislike is the lack of a knowledge center for training. They provide great one-on-one training with an OpenPrise rep, but it would be nice to have a baseline training course to cover the basics so when we have new users we can quickly get them up to speed rather than having to setup a call.

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

Don't judge a book by it's cover. They will eventually update the look, but the functionality is all there.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of our data hygiene primarily. Before we used to manually clean formatting, but the real problem was merging duplicate records. Due to Salesforce only allowing bulk merging through API our duplicates started to grow and were causing issues. We are now able to move very quickly when it comes to formatting data, merging duplicates, or any other data initiatives.

The best is the customer success team. I was new to Openprise but the CS team at Openprise was patient in helping me navigate through the tool, helping me understand how it functions. There is definitely a learning curve to get used to the terms and what actions to use. But rest assured, you have a wonderful team determined to help you.

Once I got an understanding of the capabilities of the tool, I knew it would help save a lot of my time that I would have otherwise spent in database normalization and segmentation projects. The logic building is super simple and edits can be made quickly before the next nightly update.

The use of REST API makes the updates easy, compared to the data updates done within Marketo using smart campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

The UI could use some upgrade. Some drag and drop functionality would be a nice added benefit and help reduce the learning curve.

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

If you are limited in resources, Openprise helps you save time with your data management projects. I myself haven't explored the tool in its fullest potential (Integration with Salesforce). Openprise also acts as your backup of the Marketo database.

They also offer "Data Mechanics" where you have experts from Openprise implementing projects for you in Openprise. All you  have to do is provide your business requirements. Then be ready to review the results when the implementation is complete. Such a time saver.

We are a new 2020 customer for Openprise and even with only a few months into our partnership, we have a deep appreciation of how Openpirse adds value to our MarTech Stack.  

The tool may not be the easiest to navigate through sols at times, but with the support of the fantastic Data Mechanic team, we have already solved multiple-business impacting use cases (planned and unplanned)  and without Openprise we would have never been able to react so quickly to the challenges or automate and implement at scale. 

I'd like to add that what is now really getting us excited is their CDP vision! Having literally 'just' been taken through the roadmap today we are rewriting our own strategic ambitions for this year and beyond.

The functionality is all there in Openprise, but the platform UI is not always intuitive or user friendly. Whilst I do my best to self-serve within the platform, I do rely heavily on our Data Mechanic team to make changes on my behalf.

Interestingly, our original scope for using Openprise have dramatically changed as we become increasingly familiar and impressed with the power of this tool. Now we're also looking to review some of our existing business processes to see how Openprise may be able to help us challenge the norm and help us streamline and accelerate further- such as 'Lead to Account matching).

We have something of an unusual inbound funnel with a large percentage of public email addresses. Openprise's enrichment waterfalls provide far greater coverage than any single vendor we tested. Once we were happy with enrichment, we quickly realized just how much of our operations could be simplified with Openprise, including marketing campaign attribution, and building a data-bridge between our product database and Salesforce.

They also have fantastic customer support. Our customer success rep has gone above and beyond for us to make sure we're getting the most out of the tool as possible.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

There's certainly a steep learning curve. When trying to build on your own the first time, you really need to rely on their help to answer questions for you as the documentation leaves a bit to be desired,  especially with respect to Task Templates. the template names aren't always clear, and the subtle differences between the Infer and Append templates can be difficult to grasp.

In additon, because it's such a complex tool there can be errors when building on your own that are a bit difficult to diagnose.  That said, they're very willing to help and we've always gotten to where we needed to go.

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

This is one of the most powerful tools I've used in my 10 years of Marketing and Sales Ops work. While we purchased for one use case (enrichment) we have since realized there's a whole world of functionality we could be taking advantage of. 

Make sure to ask your sales rep about anything you might be considering. We've already been able to use Openprise to replace some disparate tools, realizing a good deal of cost savings in the process.

As mentioned above, they've done a far greater job with enriching our inbound funnel than any single vendor. We're also using their tool to populate a Salesforce Campaign Influence model in order to do multi-touch reporting in Salesforce.

Few Example: We have saved our team manual work by new list upload method, a duplicate management process, tagging exercise. The support team is attentive, proactive, and they tackle every challenge with a can-do attitude.

So you're not having to wait months for a solution while their product team gets it on the roadmap and for engineering to build it. 

Everyone on the Openprise team is highly knowledgeable and though you're likely to be partnered with an exceptional account manager, you're more than likely to work closely with many other people on their team. It's not uncommon for even the CEO to jump in and provide hands on support. 

This software can do everything for you and whatever it can't, Openprise is up to the challenge.

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

Openprise offers powerful data ETL and manipulation at-scale without having to write a single line of code. 

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

The platform is a little immature in terms of data sources and connectivity they support. Amazon S3, for example, is not supported. Connecting through SSH tunnels is also not supported yet. 

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Salesforce de-duplication & cleanup.

- Lead import and campaign assignment: we've built automated ingestion that sanitizes, normalizes, appends, and de-duplicates leads against SFDC leads, contacts, and accounts before evaluating rules of engagement and assigning to the appropriate campaign. This has allowed us to move away from DemandTools to a cloud-base solution that is more robust and accurate.

- Automated enrichment and normalization: any lead, contact, or account created manually is appended with relevant information across a number of proprietary data sets.

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

The product has so many potential use cases, I'm constantly thinking of new ways to use their platform. This flexibility along with the amazing support makes them one of my favorite vendors to work with. 

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

Their actual product interface could be more user friendly. Right now my team of marketing operations professionals can navigate and understand the tool but I can see some less technical people getting confused. 

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

If you have data issues, complex CRM, or don't have an in-house data maintenance team, give them a shot. Their support is truly world class and can find a solution for you.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Normalization of data, enrichment of data, list uploads, data aggregation...so many benefits. Love their new API factory product and building out even more use cases with that (mainly for our web forms).

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

First and foremost, the knowledge the Openprise team has is amazing and their support is very efficient. Furthermore, they are very collaborative when it comes finding a solution that works for us. Every time our team has reached out to OP with a new task/project they were able to deliver.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

I honestly do not have any dislikes about Openprise. Any issues or road blocks were handled by the support team.  The support and knowledge of the team is top notch!

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

If you are facing a lot of manual data cleaning I would highly recommend taking a look at Openprise.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have had a lot of issues standardizing lead information such as phone numbers and states. Openprise's Data Cleanse process has improved our lead routing tremendously. We also like to use them to enrich our leads with Theater, Region and sub regions by using matched lead to accounts function. We can now route leads based of lead region/subregion with confidence instead of having to list out all the geo information in our lead routing logic.

**What do you like best about Openprise?**

Marketing data is different from the rest of the data that a company has to manage. Data can be purchased, rented, gathered online, etc. Openprise understands these challenges and solves these issues. Free data sources are available within the platform, you can upload your unique data values to the platform and, when I worked with Openprise, they even contacted my data vendors to bring them into the platform for me. There is also discounted data purchases through the platform. So powerful.

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

I don't have much to dislike about this platform. I was one of the early adopters of the platform so we had some pain points around the new Dynamics 365 connector that was being built, but the connector is stable now and not an issue.

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Openprise gives the marketing team the ability to dedupe, purchase and manage their data, which has given them the ability to segment and personalize content very effectively.

- ability to fill in data gaps with our own data and public data sources (ex. inferring metro area based on zip code) 
- ability to create complex segmentations using familiar tools (ex. uploading sales region mapping into a Google Sheet) 
- ability to join multiple data sources together into a single repository to visualize and analyze using a data visualization tool (ex. joining Marketo activity data and Lead/contact data across SFDC objects)  
- logical and sequence-based interface (if you're familiar with vlookups, Openprise business logic will be a breeze) 
- knowledgable CSM and professional services team that really gets to know your data, your business, and help solve key business/data challenges 

**What do you dislike about Openprise?**

- learning curve when using the platform (but they have great CSMs who will walk you through everything, and I happen to like learning new technologies)

**Recommendations to others considering Openprise:**

Sometimes the solution for messy data is to get to the root cause of the issue and tackle the problem at the data field level rather than layering custom groupings and logic on top of it. Openprise helps you do that in the most simple and accurate way possible. The data enrichment, cleansing, standardization, and segmentation that Openprise provides can only improve the way you use other segmentation and personalization tools. 

**What problems is Openprise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase in database quality from using our own data to fill in gaps (based on decrease in missing data, increase in use of standard values, and ability to segment) 
Increase in email list size for regional event email sends (based on address data)
