"Natural Conversations with Minimal Friction"
4/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use OpenMeet for video and audio chat with friends, family, and meetings. What I really like about it is that conversations feel more natural, with fewer awkward pauses or people talking over each other. It's great that quieter participants are more likely to speak since the environment feels low-pressure. One of the biggest wins is that when someone joins a session, coming back doesn't feel like starting from scratch. The initial setup of OpenMeet is generally reported as very easy and low-friction for teams, especially compared to traditional video conferencing tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

New users can feel unsure where to go and which room will be most relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Accessible, and Budget-Friendly"
4.5/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I like OpenMeet for its fast, engaging, and robust communication capabilities with my team. It's an easy way to present ideas, tips, and tricks to management. Compared to Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, it's faster and has fewer barriers to use. I appreciate that, like Google Meet, it doesn't require a desktop app installation, making it easy to access. The reasonable price and good quality are why my whole team and management have been using it for the past few months. The transition from Microsoft Teams to OpenMeet was straightforward because it took less time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I feel like there are fewer advanced tools than I need. I would like to have tools like screen sharing with highlighters, less advanced filters, a waiting room, and the ability to display more than 30 people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Remote Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about openmeet?

I use OpenMeet for online meetings, webinars, and virtual classes. It's super handy for collaborating with team members and clients remotely. I love the simplicity and ease of use. The interface is very intuitive, making it easy for anyone to join or host a meeting without needing extensive technical knowledge. The screen sharing and file sharing features are really useful, especially for presentations and training sessions, and very seamless, allowing for effortless collaboration and presentation sharing. I think video and audio quality is also great, even with multiple participants. The chat feature is super handy for sharing links, files, or asking questions during meetings. Plus, the recording feature is really useful for referencing later or sharing with others who couldn't attend. The initial setup was a breeze! 😊 The onboarding process was straightforward, and the interface is super intuitive. We were up and running in no time. The support team was also really helpful in getting us sorted out. Integrating OpenMeet with tools like Google Calendar and Slack makes scheduling and joining meetings super seamless. I can schedule meetings directly from Google Calendar and get reminders on Slack. Works like a charm! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about openmeet?

I've noticed that OpenMeet can be a bit laggy sometimes, especially if there are a lot of participants or if the internet connection is slow. Also, the mobile app could use some improvement - it's not as smooth as the desktop version. Improving the navigation and layout of the mobile app, making the screen sharing feature more intuitive, adding more controls for managing participants, and supporting landscape mode for better viewing would be great.
