Free, as it is community developed and Open source thereby reducing huge costs incurred as compared to Oracle JDK.

Good support and gets patches then and there.

**What do you dislike about OpenJDK Java Machine for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8?**

Slightly lower JVM performance when compared to Oracle's JDK.

Bit Instable when compared to Oracle JDK.

Might run into End of Life by 2026.
