Too big for it's britches **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Scott H. | Network Administrator, Mental Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2024 **What do you like best about OpenEMR?** OpenEMR is very robust and helps with scheduling, billing, client CRM, administration and many other very useful tools if you do not have another CRM or EMR in place. **What do you dislike about OpenEMR?** OpenEMR is far too vast to ever take advantage of all of it's features. Most people want an EMR that is easy to set up and get running. I think in this day and age that OpenEMR is just too rhobust **What problems is OpenEMR solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the time and for many years we used OpenEMR to manage any of our non-county client records. The security was sufficient and the customizations that were in place were made well but it took a third party to get the customizations done and it cost more that we expected to meet our needs. I believe that many of the customizations we had build are now built into the newer versions. This review is on an older version and may not reflect your experiences.
