Opencals is a service commerce platform - booking infrastructure for any business that sells services. Whether you run a single location or operate across multiple sites with dozens of staff members, Opencals handles the full booking lifecycle: availability computation, customer self-booking, payments, reminders, and order management. It runs in two modes, as standalone and Shopify-native, and merchants can use both simultaneously. Standalone gives businesses a full dashboard and a branded customer-facing storefront at a custom domain, powered by Stripe. Shopify mode embeds Opencals directly into Shopify admin with no separate login, syncing services as products, bookings as orders, and customers with the Shopify ecosystem. Businesses running both a Shopify store and a standalone operation can connect both to the same Opencals account. The core of the platform is its availability engine. Rather than offering fixed calendar slots, it computes availability dynamically across staff schedules, location hours, service durations, and capacity limits simultaneously — a salon with four stylists across two locations, a fitness studio running capped classes, a car rental fleet across three cities. Opencals handles the logic without manual slot management. The built-in AI agent is a daily tool, not a one-time setup wizard. It can configure services, adjust schedules, answer operational questions, and guide you through any part of the platform in plain language - a personal support manager available at any time. Multi-store management lets agencies and operators run multiple independent businesses from a single account, each with its own storefront, staff, services, and settings. Opencals serves any industry that offers bookable services: beauty and wellness, fitness, medical and health, education, tours and activities, rentals, professional services, and more.
