I appreciate the simplicity of using OpenBOM, especially for adding parts, modifying parts, and tracking changes. When you want to compare the different versions, the tool is not easy. It is better to export the two versions to Excel and then make a difference. During a comparison, it would be enough to display the current BOM and add red, green, or blue lines to indicate the modifications (delete, change, add) for example.
