I think our biggest challenge will be getting the whole team onboard with being comfortable using openBOM as a tool - however, I'm not sure the company can do much to assist with this as there are already many videos & tools online. What problems is OpenBOM solving and how is that benefiting you? openBOM is solving a couple main problems: A) we have to provide our clients with parts provisioning breakdowns with a lot of information, and this provides a space for this data to be stored and easily sorted by level and by catalog B) we don't currently have a good inventory management system for parts, given our products are typically custom. I am hoping that we can implement inventory management for the parts in openBOM. What do you dislike about OpenBOM? While CAD integration is great, OpenBOM cannot be used as a full ERP. We can’t use it to generate POs for procuring components or for production planning.
