I love that OpenAsset integrates with InDesign. They've made a lot of updates to the Employee module, and we've recently added that package to help with building our Resumes. We've been working hard to ensure the right data is in Vantagepoint to pull from and now we're saving HOURS per month not having to manually maintain content outside of those platforms. It helps us keep an easy-to-use photo library of our projects and employees. It is also helping us solve issues we've had for years in manually maintaining resumes that weren't accurate or consistent. Resumes have been a big pain point for me for years. We've worked hard to keep good content in Vantagepoint to pull from, and OpenAsset has made some great updates on their end so that it is all coming together to make my life MUCH easier, saving me so many hours every month. I really like that it centralizes all our assets in one place and is incredibly easy for staff to use. It was simple to ramp up, and the image tagging feature makes searching much easier. I also appreciate that it connects seamlessly with other software, making integration easy across our workflows. There’s a good level of customization that allows us to optimize the system to its full potential, and the AI search function is a great bonus. OpenAsset has a lot of potential, but there are some challenges. The cost of customizing InDesign templates can be high, and the employee resume generation tool hasn’t quite met our needs.
