It is nice to see a compatible but modern version of windows that will allow legacy apps to run. The team has made great strides since they started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Open Windows? Well, given tht it is early in development, not everything runs when installed as far as legacy apps go. But it is getting better. I hope the interface continues to be smoothed out. I know it is supposed to look like old versions of windows but we need a balance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Open Windows: Remeber this is not a true replacement if you have the legacy media to do an original Windows OS install. I have some realllllly old legacy apps that needed a place to run. The old media I had for the original versions of windows died. This fit the bill well.
