We use several different payment platforms for our products, based on what fits the criteria of usage best. When implementing SagePay on a recent project, the ability to link SagePay and SageAccounts together, since our service involved paying third parties through a marketplace while taking a fee, and the ability to quickly and easily implement and manage fraud prevention, which several of the other systems we've tried either failed at, or simply didn't implement at all. There can be some issues with implementation, especially when it comes to API implementations, since for some languages such as Go, there aren't any public implementations of their API. Additionally, there can be some issues with setting up their implementations, as well as some unnecessary complexity when it comes to the administrative side of the service, which can significantly confuse your staff if they are not well versed in both payment nomenclature and some of the technical specifics surrounding such systems. However, there are not major gripes and as such could be very easily fixed in later versions of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Opayo: Look at your use-case and current tooling before considering it, since you'll get the most out of the product when using it with other Sage services, or their current integrations. Overall, SagePay has been a significant boon to our business, allowing faster and more responsive payments through our services. It's allowed for much more automated processes for paying affiliates, and the implementations on offer make it quick and easy to slot into most E-Commerce systems. I am Certified in Magento eCommerce Development. We use Sage Pay on client projects. Previously we were using a competitor and found it challenging to be bounced around from site to site for configuration. We were introduced to SagePay from another client. I did have difficulty on the first time I set it up for a client but found it to be an issue within Magento and was able to solve it with the help of the Magento Community.
