"Lots of capabilities, a few hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about Opal?

My team/department has been relying on the calendar for our editorial meetings, and it's been useful. I also get tasks assigned to me in Opal, so that's useful as a notification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

I haven't noticed any other issues in my time using Opal, although granted I've mostly been using it for the calendars/notifications, not for actually completing my work within Opal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Opal Makes Task Management Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

Opal is very organized, intuitive, and incredibly easy to use for managing tasks efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

Honestly, I like almost everything about Opal so far. The only thing I would improve is simplifying some processes, since at times there are too many steps. It would also be great if it had direct integrations with platforms like EveryoneSocial and LinkedIn so publication links could appear automatically. Overall, I think it’s a very solid and well-organized tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Thank you for the wonderful review and for sharing how Opal helps you manage tasks, coordinate with global teams, and stay aligned across regions and projects. We’re glad the platform feels organized, intuitive, and easy to use for keeping work moving efficiently! This is exactly what we are going for!

What do you like best about Opal?

I can't say there's anything new I can report on that I like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

I'd like to double down on this feedback. The historical lookback functionality, or lack thereof, has made retrieving old briefs to use as building blocks for new ones, or just being able to find final assets of a long-ago brief is tough. The search bar yields myriad items attached to the keyword punched in, but it feels more sprawling than direct/helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Katie Pocklington of Opal

Great to hear that Opal managed to improve your content intake process. Several customers have found success using the platform for that. In addition, we’re glad to know that it is serving your organization as a source of truth for your marketing. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and thank you for continuing to use Opal!

"Streamlined Asset Management with Minor Navigation Hiccups"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I like most the ability to share content with our agency partners as well. We can process reviews, different versions, edits, and feedback all within one platform. This keeps us from having to keep track of multiple streams of communication across multiple channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

Sometimes it's a bit hard to sort through different elements, which could just be an internal issue on our end with how we're storing things. Different versions of the same file can be a bit tricky sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Thank you for sharing how Opal helps your team collaborate with agency partners and keep reviews, versions, edits, and feedback together in one place! Your feedback on sorting through elements and managing different file versions is helpful as we continue improving the platform.

"Great for Storyboards and Team Briefs, Though I’m Still Learning Opal"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

i like how you can organize in storyboards and divide by project and different teams. I like how you can communicate directly with the owner of the asset to get answers. I know other teams like it that they can directly brief in the platform as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Asset Management with Room for UI Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I like that with Opal, you can see everything in one place, which I find beneficial because it allows me to view everything outlined clearly within a singular Opal moment. It’s really helpful to see at a glance where everything’s going to be running, making it easier to compare different creative assets and how they vary across platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

I don't care for the fact that you have to click within a post that's outlined in order to copy and pull details. I do wish there was a more condensed view so that more can fit on the screen without having to scroll to see details across different posts. I also think it would be helpful to see the full title of an asset at the top without having it cut off. I would like it if Opal was more customizable and allowed different labels to be easily applied to different posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

It’s great to hear that Opal helps you keep creative assets organized, view everything in one place, and compare how work will run across platforms. Your notes on making post details easier to access, improving condensed views, showing full asset titles, and adding more customization are all very helpful as we continue refining the experience.

"Outstanding Calendar Feature Enhances Productivity"
5/5
What do you like best about Opal?

I really like the calendar feature, that is really well laid out in a way that is very clear. I like that you can put in placeholders before picking out the content as I enjoy planning content ahead without inputing the actual content. I also feel like there are lots of places to add notes and extra info where needed. Just very easy to use in general, nothing seems too complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Opal?

The calendar feature for searching feels a bit clunky, not sure how it could be improved but when I am searching using the post title, it seems a bit difficult to find as they just kind of highlight in the calendar when it was posted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Lee Dussinger of Opal

Thank you for sharing your experience with Opal! I’m glad to hear how much value you’re getting from the calendar and how it helps you plan ahead and collaborate more easily across your team. I also appreciate you highlighting the search experience — feedback like this is incredibly helpful as we continue to refine the platform. Thank you again for taking the time to share how Opal is supporting your workflow!
