**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal is easy to use and helps organize post schedules clearly. Having a visual layout of the week and post schedule is helpful for keeping track of what is coming up.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

No space to add hashtags in "comments" for IG post simulation.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the issue of collaboration and approval/asset handover between marketing social strategy teams and creative design teams.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> The visual layout of Opal is crucial to keeping track of the content you have coming up – glad to hear that is a benefit for you. We appreciate hearing that the platform is facilitating a handoff between different teams. Thank you for writing a review and for being a customer!

  ### 2. Easy way to keep track of creative's various elements and get approvals.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** francesca m. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

By day posts. Comment/ chat section. The view that shows the mockup of the creative ad.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Feels like there could be a better chat function that is more "live" to work out issues in real time.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to second guess creative assets and what copy goes where. Everything is outlines by publisher which is also helpful.

**Official Response from Erica Templeton:**

> The true-to-life creative mockups are a speciality of Opal. Like you said, not having to guess how the creative and assets fit together is a game changer. Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for being a user!

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Good scheduling across different teams, products and ability to make specific moments private.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

NA - limited hands-on, mostly just viewing updates as they come in.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing marketing calendars, coordinating upcoming beats. Allows for overall full visibilty for various groups to see a snapshot of what's up coming and relevant to them.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

  ### 5. Review for Opal as Content Manager

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

I like that you can use it to plan each week's posts and see it all laid out.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Major downside is not being able to duplicate each week's posts. We post on a regular cadence and I have to create posts each week. It would help to be able to duplicate prior weeks as templates.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content planning.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the ability to efficiently plan your weekly posts using Opal. Seeing your content laid out and organized is a fundamental part of what Opal aims to provide. I will make a note to the team about your challenge about duplicating content

  ### 6. Good

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florencia V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

The opportunity to co-collaborate, co-create and invite people from everywhere.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

As I said before, the download feature should be better.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding assets and knowing exactly what all Marketing is planning to post, communicate

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Wonderful to hear that Opal is helping you with asset management and giving you visibility into Marketing's plans for posting and communication. Centralizing content and providing clear visibility can indeed streamline processes and improve coordination. Could you give more details about what you’d like to see regarding the download features?

  ### 7. Sparks a planning mindset!

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal challenges teams to consider all the possible assets for a successful campaign. It offers visibility into the ongoing projects and plans of other teams that might not otherwise work collaboratively with one another. It also can be leveraged as a great retrospective tool, presenting all of the finalized assets or components that made up the campaign or Story.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Since Opal doesn't integrate with task management tools such as Asana or Monday.com, there's a break in the process, from planning to execution. There needs to be a defined owner to ensure that siloed work is kept to a minimum and that there's true planning and communication occurring to create successful campaigns.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For growing teams that have previously been operating in siloes, Opal challenged teams to consider how they're working, communicating, and planning - individually and collaboratively. This has sparked more conversations for process improvement, which can only lead to progress!

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for writing a review and for being a customer. It’s great that Opal enables your teams to step outside of their silos and work more collaboratively! While Opal doesn’t integrate with those specific tools yet, I’d suggest reaching out to your success manager to discuss integration solutions.

  ### 8. Excellent Social Media Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Libraries | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal keeps me so organized. Also it helps me tell my colleagues what I'm planning for social media without having to have a meeting every week.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I wish there were more options to color code different things. That's a minor thing but for visual learners it could be helpful.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really streamlines the communication between me and my team. Also it allows me to plan social media and emails ahead of time. I love that it's all in one place.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Sounds like Opal is helping you communicate better and quicker with your team – that’s fantastic! Seeing all of your content in one place is definitely a difference-maker for Opal. Thank you for writing a review and for using the platform.

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Love that we could see all the marketing activities and creatives in an organized, calendar view that can easily be filtered based on what we are looking for!

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Asset library can be more organized further instead of 1 big folder for everything, or atleast be able to filter based on channel or marketing activity.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bird's eye view of what our marketing strategies look like in a month's view and assets along with it!

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

So much to sift through that it sometimes becomes overwhelming with content however, all content is very well organized.

Helping to solve content needs for the Canadian market.

No issues with Opal. It' s pretty self explanatory on how to use its various functions.

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal is very user-friendly. The interface is well-designed and easy to navigate, without a lot of training or support. The team has been very helpful with onboarding our team and has a solid sense of how Opal can best support our workflows.

That we didn't start using Opal sooner. Some of the text layouts of Opal takes me a minute to understand, but I think this will improve as I become more aware of the workflow.

Often laggy and unorganized, it may be more effective to have more tags for each section.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to streamline posting by having an easily accessible app where I can download assets day of accompanied with any notes for each post.

Calendar view of all content, plus streamlined ability to secure approvals on content. Also enjoy seeing the content in-situation (with copy accompanying Social content).

Opal is a great hub that provides access/info for creative assets, copy, etc..
It provides a useful calendar view for campaigns and creatives.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Currently do not have any major issues with my use of Opal.

Campaigns are grouped on a calendar as "Stories", which is helpful when zooming out to look at several weeks/months at a time.

  ### 21. Top-Notch Tool For Managing Social

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark D. | Account Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

The monthly calendar is a brilliant tool. Love the ease of looking over the whole month and being able to click into any given day and see a preview of the social content planned. Also, the Search function on the calendar saves me time when I'm trying to quickly find a specific post.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

When it comes to scheduling content, it would be nice if there was a duplicate tool that allows me to duplicate the image/copy from one placement and paste it into another placement. If this is already a function on Opal then I apologize!

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planning and scheduling social content is made easy with Opal. Saves our team time and headache and we are more productive because of it. Bravo to the team for developing such a great tool!

So much is going out that it can sometimes be difficult to see everything at a glance.

Collaboration, drafting, and approvals across multiple teams. It really helps!

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Streamlining your content approvals and seeing what is going to market is the core of Opal. Good to know you’re experiencing that benefit. Thank you for writing a review and thank you for using Opal!

  ### 24. Great for project visibility but not an intuitive interface.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sadie M. | Marketing Communications Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Visually, Opal is great! It is an awesome tool that shows off all the projects our team is working on at any given time.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

In my opinion it takes too many steps to set up moments for each project. The process can be a bit clunky and hard to grasp.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem Opal solves is that it provides visibility into the projects our team is working on. I think it is a benefit to our upper management team.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for writing a review and for being an Opal customer. It’s awesome to hear that Opal is giving you the ability to show off your projects to the upper management team. ### 25. Helpful in scheduling and keeping track of social posts but has some issues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

I really like having the ability to duplicate the same content for all the social channels with just a few clicks. It saves us a lot of time and it is less confusing than doing it in Social Studio or having to post on each individual channel.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

There have been times when my entire company has experienced issues with Opal. For a couple of weeks none of the posts we scheduled in Opal got integrated into Social Studio, which is something that has always worked before. Furthermore, there were a few times when despite scheduling a post to be posted on a certain date, Opal would change the scheduled date on its own.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my company there are multiple marketing departments for the different segments of the company. Opal allows us all to be aware of what the other departments are posting and helps us better collaborate.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for your feedback; it's great to hear Opal is helping you keep organized across multiple departments! If you haven't already, please reach out to support@workwithopal.com directly to discuss the issues you are experiencing. That is not intended behavior and we would like to fix it for you and your team to ensure you continue to find success in Opal.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Having visibility across your brand is one of the most crucial things you can have as a marketer. Glad to hear that Opal is giving you that visibility – along with the benefits of scheduling and project management.

It sounds like Stamps might be a big help for you! Instead of creating new Moments, Content, and Workflows from scratch, you can apply a template that already has Workflow tasks, Moment labels, and Content shells built-in.

Thank you for this stellar review (I’ll definitely share it with the team), and thank you for using Opal!

  ### 27. Great Edcal Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cora L. | Account Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Provides amazing views into the overall editorial management of our content. I appreciate that we can view very high level as well as very granular depending on the need or request. I enjoy that it's easy to share views of our content to external partners through presentations that are quick and easy to make. I also enjoy that we can organize our content in a variety of ways - from stories to tags, etc.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

There isn't a lot I don't like about the product. If I had to pick something, with the latest update to their UI, I would like to be able to see if I have approvals without hovering over the menu for it to open and show me. It should have the approval icon shown whether the menu is open or not.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this as our editorial management resource, it gives us the ability to edit, adjust content as needed as well as gives our clients visibility into the content going live on their channels. It's also a place that houses all of our content and assets.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> We are happy to hear Opal presentations are helping you communicate out your editorial plans quickly and efficiently! Keeping everyone in the loop is one of the big challenges that Opal was built to solve – so it’s great to know you’re finding that as well. Thank you for giving us a review and for trusting our platform!

  ### 28. One of my favorite tools to keep content organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

I love the ease of building out the content calendar in multuple views (week, month) and being able to tag teammates in updates or ask them to review something directly in the platform. Being able to move content from one day to another by simply dragging it saves me so much time since I deal with a lot of last-minute creative assets.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

The one thing that I feel would be the most helpful with Opal is if we could schedule our content directly into the platforms. Having to download the assets and copy and paste the text is repetitive and time-consuming.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opal helps us to build out our content with all the correct information needed for a final review and for the publishers to have everything they need in advance. We can look at when/how we used content in the past as well as build out what we want to see in the future, benefiting us in our time management as a team.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for your review and for being a customer! Managing content and keeping the whole team involved is one of the key advantages of Opal – so I’m glad you’re finding that valuable. We offer integrations with social media publishing platforms that would enable you to schedule and publish content from Opal. Please reach out to your customer success manager to discuss this further!

  ### 29. Great tool for managing social across different business lanes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

This is a great tool for staying organized when you work in a large organization. We use this across 5 brands that are all nested under the same org and its truly a great way to stay organized and also synergize with other teams.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

The process of pushing organic content to other tools can be a bit tedious. However, it does work. Just takes a few extra steps.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping synergy between all social teams. Working in such a large organization has its challenges with staying up to date across so many teams, so this really has helped us maintain our shared accounts in a clean and easy way.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for being an Opal customer and for writing a review of the platform. It’s awesome to know that Opal is keeping you organized across so many different brands. This is one of the key benefits of our platform for enterprise businesses. Have you looked into our suite of integrations to make publishing content from the platform faster?

  ### 30. Opal is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal has a lot of functionality, helps streamline communication across teams, and simplifies the review process for social content.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Some of the features are tricky to find.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cutting down email traffic for reviews and approvals.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Love hearing that Opal is streamlining your communication around reviews and approvals! Getting away from having these conversations in email is one of the main ways teams get better when using Opal. Thank you for your review; I’ll be certain to pass your kind words along to the team!

  ### 31. Account Supervisor at an advertising agency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

I like being able to add in content for multiple platforms

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I don't like how hard it is to find things you've added in the past

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling social media posts for my client to see

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Glad to hear that Opal helps you create social media content for multiple platforms! Thank you for writing a review and for being an Opal user.

  ### 32. Great tool for editorial calendar planning and workflow.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily D. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

I like that I am able to easily view what we have planned weeks (even months) ahead for our social calendar. Additionally, keeping the internal and external approval and workflow process relives headaches as it keeps everything in one, easy-to-access spot.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I've had some issues downloading/accessing images in the asset library at certain moments. I wish it were easier to see EVERYTHING uploaded in our workspace in the asset library without any sort of filters.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, the workflow and approval process is game-changing. It makes it easy to see what feedback we receive from our client and keep our email inboxes clutter-free.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> It sounds like Opal has been able to serve as your source of truth for social planning – that’s great to hear! It’s awesome to know that the workflow and approval process has been so helpful for you as well. Thank you for writing a review, and thank you for using Opal!

  ### 33. Great for teams + individual content creators

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

The best part of Opal for my team is the ability to draft social media content, organize by content type/platform, and easily plan out our content schedule using the calendar. And with their drag-and-drop feature, you can quickly move as needed to accommodate schedule changes.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I've had a few issues logging in via mobile app - not sure if this is an issue on my end, or with the product itself. Because of that, I really only utilize via desktop, rather than on-the-go.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my executive team, they prefer to see real-to-life previews of the social content that is going out from our brand channels. Opal makes it easy to draft said social content as it would appear natively, giving stakeholders the ability to see the content as it would live on our channels.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Creating and managing social media content is one of the core benefits of Opal. Seeing and previewing content as it will look when it’s live is one of our key differentiators, so I love hearing you’re finding value there! Thank you for taking time to write a review and for being an Opal customer. We’re sorry that you’re having issues with the mobile app – please consider contacting our support team about these issues.

  ### 34. General Motors Creative Content Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sami K. | Digital & Social Media Marketing Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

The user interface which makes it easy to work with the CMT. It helps us a lot in reviewing creative in situ across different digital & social platform placement.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

The lack of constant update to the placements on the platform in line with all the social media content updates. Currently, you most probably need to raise it up to the team to make those updates which takes time.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewing content in their actual placement and ensuring that Creative is executed in a professional manner by eliminating any non best practice executions for our brands.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and thank you for being a customer! I’m so happy to hear that you’re finding value reviewing creative and content – that is one of Opal’s key value drivers!

  ### 35. Making the visualization and creation of advertisements easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

The organization and ease of accessing necessary assets (i.e. creative, links, etc.) I also love the date planning aspect and knowing when the ads are scheduled to go live.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I genuinely cannot think of anything I dislike. Out of all the ways I have accessed creatives/information for campaigns this is by far the cleanest/easiest way.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opal makes it so that no necessary creative information is overlooked. It also organizes things so that different lines of business don't get missed in the scramble of it all. With such a big client this is especially important.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for this great review! Opal was built to give you full visibility of your marketing – so it’s wonderful to hear you’re experiencing that. Keeping things from being missed in the scramble of a busy day is one of the most important things Opal can offer.

  ### 36. Clean Workspace

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Easy to communicate with other team members. Clean design that allows you to easily see all your posts. Labels allow you to easily separate content and filter by what you need.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

There could be more functions where you could see who is doing what and provide exact time stamps. Wish there was a clearer way to see edited history and exact changes.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating mocks for clients and being able to input live links all in one place. Allowing me to put live links all in one place where client can easily access them.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> We spend a lot of time on the design and user experience, so we love hearing that real customers appreciate it. I will keep a note about you wanting to see more change history features. Thank you for writing a review, and for using Opal!

  ### 37. Great way to manage content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal allows us to create a very useful and transparent way of showcasing all the content we are creating to different stakeholders around the business. It's super efficient.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

It can be a little complicated to get people onboarded onto the process, but once you get around different technicalities things tend to become a little clearer.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to be more transparent when it comes to making different parts of the business aware of all the things we are working on. It allows all different stakeholders to offer their advice and insights.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> It’s great to see that Opal is helping you showcase your content throughout the organization. Our platform was built to ensure marketers can keep everyone in the loop and obtain great feedback from stakeholders. Thank you for taking the time to review us, and thank you for being an Opal customer!

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal is a great collaborative tool that assists with managing and planning content. The user interface and overall display is easy to use and also helps assist with reviewing across various teams.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I haven't found any downsides to using Opal. I like that it regularly refreshes and provides updates to make it an overall better platform and experience for users.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opal allows multiple teams to work in a collaborative setting. It also allows the ability to edit and adjust posting schedules should any changes happen, solving many issues around time mgmt.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

  ### 39. Absolutely a big fan of Opal

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal has a really nice and easy to use UI. Also, the connection between Opal and Sprinklr is usually pretty smooth when publishing content, sending it from Opal to Sprinklr for scheduling and publishing. Also, Opal is always changing/updating functions, so it's nice to hear about all of the new features that are upcoming.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

There are certain types/styles of posts for each social platform that don't deliver to Sprinklr since it is incompatible. Also, some of the features are a little more hidden, so maybe having an extra sub-category on the toolbar for navigation would be nice.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opal is mainly used for editorial calendar tracking and content building. It's great for our team and everyone is very familiar with the functions and uses of Opal.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you so much for your review and for being a customer. Glad to know you’re getting a lot out of the platform both from planning and publishing standpoints. We appreciate hearing that you enjoy the look and the UI – our product team works diligently on those elements. You’re right that we are always working to continue to upgrade our platform – and that will never stop!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Ability to mock and share creative according to the spec it will be (Snapchat vs Twitter for example)

Also caption sharing

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I would like it to more exactly mirror the platforms and have a place where you choose the CTA and include a URL

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing creative assets between agency and creative to manage campaigns

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Mocking up true-to-life previews is one of the things that truly sets Opal apart – glad it makes a difference to you! I will pass your feedback on CTAs and URLs in content along to our product team. Thank you for taking the time to write a review – and thank you for using Opal!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monika B. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

The fact that I can see every marketing event by day by channel

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

When clicking into a specific date, when you go back, you lose your spot in the calendar view.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure only the right people have access to the platform.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for the tremendous 5-star review – I’m absolutely going to pass this along to the team! It’s great to read that Opal is your source of truth for marketing – and that it shows you everything you need to see to be successful.

  ### 42. Useful tool for big teams with a lot of plans!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

It's a good calendar planning tool and the visualisation of how many beats are happening on a given day is very clever

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

I don't always find functionality or terminology used intuitive

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidating plans across a large number of teams who all have a lot going on.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> The visual calendar is one of the centerpieces of the Opal platform. We appreciate hearing that it’s made a difference in visualizing your brand on any given day. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, and thank you for being an Opal customer.

  ### 43. Bought but don’t use as imagined

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Industrial Automation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Visualizing projects in time sequence. Possibly also as CMS.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Not very intuitive. Feels like it could be more modern and intuative. Headings used not customizable.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are not really using it despite buying so it is not helping so much.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> I’m sorry to hear your day-to-day application of Opal hasn’t gone as envisioned. If you haven’t had an opportunity to explore our Help Center, I encourage you to start there. You can always reach out to support@workwithopal.com for help in the platform, as well!

  ### 44. Easy to use, planning platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

Opal has been a great tool for editorial calendar planning. It has a straightforward interface and makes approvals with multiple stakeholders easy. I appreciate the presentation feature that makes it easy to share content without having to login.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

With multiple social handles connected to one account, the full calendar view can be confusing. If you are logged into Opal in multiple tabs, it may prompt you to continue your session and disrupt your in-progress work.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opal helps my team work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders between 2-3 companies for an easy review process and planning on social calendars. It has cut down on emails and centralized our communication.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Opal! We love hearing that presentations are a feature that you’re making the most of – and that you’re streamlining approvals. I’d absolutely recommend talking to your customer success manager about finding possible workarounds for some of the difficulties you’re having!

  ### 45. Great for presenting to leadership!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morgan R. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Opal?**

It keeps us organized! Having visuals of our creative on a calendar view is so helpful. And then when it's time to present to leadership and get approvals, it's so easy. We can even quickly create a presentation that we can send to them via email.

**What do you dislike about Opal?**

Sometimes there are glitches in the system where our creative disappears or doesn't save an upload. So sometimes that causes some confusion when we do have to present to leadership.

**What problems is Opal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a time saver and colabrative! Instead of having to create our own presentations for leadership, all members of the team can easily upload creative to then with only a few clicks, go into presentation mode.

**Official Response from Katie Pocklington:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Opal! We would like to connect directly regarding content disappearing and not uploading correctly. That is not intended behavior and we would like the opportunity to address the issues you and your team have experienced. Please reach out to support@workwithopal.com to go into detail.
