Opal was pitched to me and my team as "an improvement over Microsoft Word," and I could see that being the case if/when tracked changes is added. A main pain point with Microsoft Word is version control, which is something Opal claims to solve (I haven't seen this in action yet). I do wish there was a more condensed view so that more can fit on the screen without having to scroll to see details across different posts.
