The clear and simple pricing per line. I really appreciate that there are not additional charges for basic features such as eFax, conference lines, video conferencing, etc.
Support has been great. I had to call a few time when setting up the account, and the people I talked to were always very easy to converse with, understood what I was asking, and helped answer my question immediately. I also appreciate that the support phone number is always readily available throughout the site.
I really appreciate the regular, live, video conferences to go over features and allow us to ask questions.
The Web UI is incredibly easy to use for both the administrator and the users. It's obvious how to get messages and how to send and receive calls.
The Android and iOS app are very straightforward. We ended up only getting two physical phones, and the remaining lines are al virtual using the cell phones. Everyone has appreciated being able to make calls with the main office number showing as the outgoing number, and receiving calls from outside.
I can't say enough how much I appreciate not being locked into a plan. Our 8x8 service had locked us in without telling us, and now we're fighting to get out "early" after 9 years of using them. I'm incredibly happy with Ooma after comparing the price and services with 4 other providers. In the end their sales and support people have been great, and the UI is incredibly intuitive. It's just what we need for our small business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the admin UI were geared towards users instead of phone numbers. Currently, each user/employee has a phone number, and they have to use it as their username when logging in. This would be much easier if they could set up their own login. I also wish I could set up other numbers as administrators so that not only 1 person is an admin for the account, in case someone gets sick or is unavailable.
The call blocking with Nomorobo seems fine, but we still get a TON of sales calls, more than I we remember getting with our previous provider. This went down significantly when we switched to have the blocked and unknown calls go to voicemail, but it seems we need to address the blocked/unknown numbers since the spam blocking seems to miss a lot.
