What do you like best?

Onspring has changed the way we manage vendors, contracts and projects. We've become more efficient in our processes and the reporting and dashboard functionalities help us create a holistic narrative for our leaders.

From and administrator's perspective, this tool was incredibly easy to learn, implement and use - even with without an IT background. We're very pleased with the flexibility and continue to find more and more use cases for Onspring.

Above the functionality, we are especially happy with customer service. The positive, helpful culture Onspring cultivates is contagious, making them my favorite vendor to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Project Management - we now have a centralized platform that allows for accountability, transparency and reporting that we previously lacked. Our average caseload has tripled since implementing Onspring.

Contract Management - we now have a central repository for our vendor contracts and extensive reporting and tracking capabilities, providing us oversight capabilities that significantly reduce risk.

Vendor Management - we use Onspring to build out vendor profiles to help paint a more holistic picture of our vendor relationships, including projects, contract and scorecard information. This view used to be manually populated by collecting a lot of siloed information. We use this in preparation for all vendor meetings and helping to make more informed business decisions. What do you like best?

I love that I don't have to have an IT degree to be a successful and effective system administrator. Once you're familiar with how Onspring works/flows, the Onspring world is your oyster! We're currently trying to come up with more processes that we can incorporate into our instance. Also, their customer support deserves a gold medal! They are quick and friendly. And they don't just solve the problem for me; they take the time to meet with me to explain all the details, which has literally helped me solve subsequent hurdles. What do you dislike?

I have a short wishlist of possible improvements (e.g. to be able to permanently adjust the width of columns within a report on our dashboards), but I don't have any complaints/difficulties that I can think of at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gathering data and workpapers for our external auditors has been... less than perfect prior to Onspring. Just the other day, I was able to show them how they can create their own reports and extract workpapers without having to request & wait. What do you like best?

It is super easy to customize the platform to meet our needs. The support and solutions team at Onspring is first in class, and we have had a wonderful time to date working with their staff and solution implementation team. The Onspring staff is very interested in our company's success with using their platform, and constantly offers training sessions, tips and tricks, and communications regarding changes and best practices. The yearly Onspring Connect event is also a differentiator for their company - much like the Dreamforce event from Salesforce, Onspring Connect is intended to make you a 'part of the family' and interested in using and growing with their product. What do you like best?

No-code configuration that is simple to learn - even for non-IT professionals. The Onspring platform delivers streamlined workflows, excellent reports and dashboards, and automated notifications. Survey fuctionality captures data from non-licensed users, and the ability to link applications provides managers with an in-depty analysis of the organization's risks. Our GRC solution encompasses many business processes, including corporate insurance management, compliance monitoring and testing, incident managment and remediation, Enterprise Risk and BSA risk assessments, KRI dashboards, and project management. The ability to configure dashboards by line of business or on an enterprise level allows us both a "birds eye" view of the organization while maintaining the ability to pinpoint areas of opportunity. What do you like best?

OnSpring strikes a careful balance between a plug and play and fully customizable solution. What it lacks in the deep customization that some other GRC Platforms offer, it more than makes up for with how easy it is to implement.

The OnSpring licensing model is simple and straightforward, in an otherwise nightmarish SaaS space.

The biggest differentiator between OnSpring and the other GRC solutions, is the team supporting it. 90% of the time I can ask any question I want and be on a call with someone in under an hour. The team that supports this tool is absolutely next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The lack of and active directory integration is a major drawback in an otherwise great tool.

Permission roles don't stack/build, meaning we have to build far more custom roles to reach the granular permission sets we need.

The logical workflows are very linear and don't have the depth of if/then, recursion, loops, etc. that are fairly common in modern no/low code automation tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Onspring has been great for our contract, vendor, task, and case management. The ability to change the dashboards, apps, and every layout feature on Onspring is so valuable. We are able to keep a great handle on our contract renewals, expirations, and notice requirements from the Contracts app in Onspring. This saves us so much time so we don't have to input or calculate these dates.

What do you like best?

The customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. They are always there to answer questions or set up a meeting to discuss any challenges we may be having. They also listen to their clients on pain points. For example, if there is something clients do not like about the platform and Onspring hears about it, they will do their best to incorporate it into a release if the change is possible on their end.

Also the configuration of Onspring is very easy. I am not in IT and it is very simple to make changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Although Onspring is not a word processing tool, it would be amazing if there was a way to integrate Office online into the tool. After being a client of Onspring for 5 years, this is really the only challenge my organization has faced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We thoroughly enjoy working with Onspring. Just this past week we got on the phone with an issue with our our logic worked to produce a risk-based items list. They took a look and provided a solution that we are working through now! They are super helpful and really listen to your situation or request to provide a worthy, beneficial response. When we can, we hope to expand our business with Onspring because this is the sort of working relationship we value.

I really like the annual User Forum too where I can meet other customers and we can share our troubles and hear how others have solved for things. Onspring makes that happen each year and provides some "best practices" learnings both here and through regular communications which is really helpful.

Recently, they developed a solution which they felt they could offer us, and completely rewrote a section of code for us, using the new features while they were demonstrating it to us! It was amazing and cool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Onspring currently to manage our Audit Projects. We consider them a potential solution for our Compliance program, and they can do anything with their Workflow capabilities, from Ticketing and Tracking programs to incident response programs to so much more. What do you like best?

What do you dislike?

A few more out of the box integrations would be very useful, especially Office. We currently need to download a file to view it, but having an inbuilt opening of a document within office online would be great. It can then be saved back in Onspring Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Onspring is very easy to use. Their platform is simple to understand which allows for easy design and configuration. Employees are able to quickly learn how to navigate through the tool, and also love the ability to build their own customized reports. So far, there have been very few "asks" that we haven't been able to configure within the system.

Additionally, the customer support at Onspring is wonderful. The team is quick to respond and is willing to help troubleshoot any scenario. They constantly ask for feedback, and I actually see suggestions I make be implemented within the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

What do you like best?

It is the of use. Once you learn the in and outs which is intuitive you can create your own reports and dashboards. We updated a whole module by ourselves with minimal help from the Onspring consultants. We another system this would have cost thousands of dollars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OnSpring has allowed us to manage our vendors in a whole new way. No longer are the details of an engagement stored in multiple areas, they are all right in here in one easy to use tool. What do you like best?

My favorite thing is that it is so easy to customize, obviously by the title of my review. It is so incredibly flexible and changes are so easy to make. There are no initial start up fees to worry about, nor long term contracts required. You do not need to be an IT professional to figure out how to customize it for your companies biggest needs. Customer support responds almost immediately. I love the task tracking and task assignment features. There is great help for any project manager, and with it's simple drag and drop interface, the most inexperienced user can easily navigate the system. I am a fan of the web based platform. I really cannot thing of anything I dislike. I would recommend making the software available in other languages. We tried to share it with overseas teams and it was unavailable in any language other than English. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
