**What do you like best about Onspring?**

I like the versatility that onspring provies.  The reporting and admin features are VERY strong compared to other platforms, and the API and security around that are modern and provide valuable ways to automate things.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

The platform is very generic.  What I mean by that is that it really can be used for so many different things which then weakens the stength in specific things.  For example policies that require multiple cadneces, emails, and populations require advance functions to do what seems like should be native to the system.

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use onspring to solve for compliance certifications for a 70+ employee company.  It is no better (or worse) then our previous solution. And we have decided due to the complex functions not to add anything else to this platform.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

The system is easy to use, if not entirely intuitive. The depth of the pre-built apps is notable and potentially worth the license cost alone. For us, the system replaced multiple independent products and gave us a nice tool for future development.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

The UI is adequate but a bit confusing. After using it for a while, all is good. But Onspring could benefit from a page out of the Google or Apple playbook for UX design.

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were replacing two separate systems with pre-built apps from Onspring. We have leveraged the system to add a third app that fits nicely into the platform. We have not yet used all of the risk management features, but we intend to.

The product has robust workflow and automation capabilities. Their interface is easy to use and navigate. They have a great account and support team. Awesome integration capabilities as well.

Nothing, in particular, jumps out. They meet requirements across all major categories and exceed requirements across a few as well. From what I understand, organizations leveraging their solution are getting strong ROI and tend to renew.

Onspring is able to handle the needs of a robust and modern TPRM program. Their platform accounts for the various tools and processes an organization leverages and makes integrations seamless. Great ROI from this platform.

Easy to configure new apps. Formulas and other fields allow adaptation outside of the standard use cases for the software.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

Charting / graphing is simple to set up, but limited in how the data can be read / displayed. Displays of groupings are sometimes unusable if the group field is not a list (i.e. text or formula displaying in text).

Created a location audit and causal investigation applications. Allows standardized data collection and consolidation across world-wide locations.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

The greatest part about onspring is how highly configurable it is. It fits so many different use cases and has been able to replace spreadsheets for us as a main project management tool. We primarily use the tool for event management at the moment and it has been a serious game changer. We used to have spreadsheets on spreadsheets and we were repeating information in multiple places. Now, everything is managed within onspring and can be reported on for different audiences quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

The UX design of Onspring is a bit dated and it has a bit of a learning curve when used for the first couple of times. I think that the outdated UX has prevented my team members from jumping full on board and things could be a bit more intuitive. I would recommend that the team at Onspring invest in user research and try to modernize the UX.

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have many spreadsheets of data and information to manage, we no longer need those and Onspring is the single source of truth. Benefits realized include having all team members with access to the data at low cost and streamlined operations.

If you are looking for a platform that is scalable, flexible, and user-friendly, Onspring is the way to go.

I would not call this a "dislike," but I do wish that Onspring offered more content, such as risk and control libraries.

Contract management and processing has been very manual in the past.  Processes will be improved by the use of the tool.  Business performance has not yet been evaluated for improvement.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

Onspring has changed the way we manage vendors, contracts and projects.  We've become more efficient in our processes and the reporting and dashboard functionalities help us create a holistic narrative for our leaders.  

From and administrator's perspective, this tool was incredibly easy to learn, implement and use - even with without an IT background.  We're very pleased with the flexibility and continue to find more and more use cases for Onspring.  

Above the functionality, we are especially happy with customer service.  The positive, helpful culture Onspring cultivates is contagious, making them my favorite vendor to work with.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

I haven't come across anything I dislike yet.

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management - we now have a centralized platform that allows for accountability, transparency and reporting that we previously lacked.  Our average caseload has tripled since implementing Onspring.

Contract Management - we now have a central repository for our vendor contracts and extensive reporting and tracking capabilities, providing us oversight capabilities that significantly reduce risk. 

Vendor Management - we use Onspring to build out vendor profiles to help paint a more holistic picture of our vendor relationships, including projects, contract and scorecard information.  This view used to be manually populated by collecting a lot of siloed information.  We use this in preparation for all vendor meetings and helping to make more informed business decisions.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

It is super easy to customize the platform to meet our needs. The support and solutions team at Onspring is first in class, and we have had a wonderful time to date working with their staff and solution implementation team. The Onspring staff is very interested in our company's success with using their platform, and constantly offers training sessions, tips and tricks, and communications regarding changes and best practices. The yearly Onspring Connect event is also a differentiator for their company - much like the Dreamforce event from Salesforce, Onspring Connect is intended to make you a 'part of the family' and interested in using and growing with their product.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

Nothing so far. It has been a pleasant experience.

We are working on creating solutions for our company's Risk Management, Business Continuity and Planning, Vendor Management, and Policy components using Onspring. **What do you like best about Onspring?**

No-code configuration that is simple to learn - even for non-IT professionals.  The Onspring platform delivers streamlined workflows, excellent reports and dashboards, and automated notifications.   Survey fuctionality captures data from non-licensed users, and the ability to link applications provides managers with an in-depty analysis of the organization's risks.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

The dynamic document fuctionality could use some improvement; specifically so that the final document requires less manipulation when it is downloaded from Onspring into Word.

**Recommendations to others considering Onspring:**

Having documented business processes is an important first step to Onspring configuration.

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our GRC solution encompasses many business processes, including corporate insurance management, compliance monitoring and testing, incident managment and remediation, Enterprise Risk and BSA risk assessments, KRI dashboards, and project management.  The ability to configure dashboards by line of business or on an enterprise level allows us both a "birds eye" view of the organization while maintaining the ability to pinpoint areas of opportunity.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

OnSpring strikes a careful balance between a plug and play  and fully customizable solution. What it lacks in the deep customization that some other GRC Platforms offer, it more than makes up for with how easy it is to implement. 

The OnSpring licensing model is simple and straightforward, in an otherwise nightmarish SaaS space. 

The biggest differentiator between OnSpring and the other GRC solutions, is the team supporting it. 90% of the time I can ask any question I want and be on a call with someone in under an hour. The team that supports this tool is absolutely next level.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

The lack of and active directory integration is a major drawback in an otherwise great tool. 

Permission roles don't stack/build, meaning we have to build far more custom roles to reach the granular permission sets we need. 

The logical workflows are very linear and don't have the depth of if/then, recursion, loops, etc. that are fairly common in modern no/low code automation tools

We've been able to automate our entire policy management process within 4 weeks of launch

Onspring has been great for our contract, vendor, task, and case management. The ability to change the dashboards, apps, and every layout feature on Onspring is so valuable. The report features, as well as the messaging components in the system are so helpful and save us so much time!

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

Nothing-- we have been extremely happy with Onspring since implementing it for our Legal Department back in 2017! I wish we would have found it sooner!

**Recommendations to others considering Onspring:**

The entire process from the demo, to implementation, to ongoing support from Onspring has been great. We have enjoyed using the system and getting to know their team over the past few years!

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to keep a great handle on our contract renewals, expirations, and notice requirements from the Contracts app in Onspring. This saves us so much time so we don't have to input or calculate these dates. 
We also use Onspring to manage our vendor COIs, and we are able to keep them in one central location where we can track all components. This aspect has been extremely helpful in saving our department time.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

The customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. They are always there to answer questions or set up a meeting to discuss any challenges we may be having. They also listen to their clients on pain points. For example, if there is something clients do not like about the platform and Onspring hears about it, they will do their best to incorporate it into a release if the change is possible on their end.

Also the configuration of Onspring is very easy. I am not in IT and it is very simple to make changes.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

Although Onspring is not a word processing tool, it would be amazing if there was a way to integrate Office online into the tool. After being a client of Onspring for 5 years, this is really the only challenge my organization has faced.

**Recommendations to others considering Onspring:**

Understand what your pain points are and have an open mind when implementing the solution. Just because your process is one one way, Onspring may be able to provide better solutions to your process. So keep an open mind!

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My organization uses Onspring for SOX and Audit work. Additionally, we have used Onspring to develop visualizations for Audit Committee material vs. creating the materials manually. That is just one example of a manual process that has now been automated, but that is where Onspring provides so much value.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

We thoroughly enjoy working with Onspring.  Just this past week we got on the phone with an issue with our our logic worked to produce a risk-based items list.  They took a look and provided a solution that we are working through now!  They are super helpful and really listen to your situation or request to provide a worthy, beneficial response.   When we can, we hope to expand our business with Onspring because this is the sort of working relationship we value.  
I really like the annual User Forum too where I can meet other customers and we can share our troubles and hear how others have solved for things.  Onspring makes that happen each year and provides some "best practices" learnings both here and through regular communications which is really helpful.
Recently, they developed a solution which they felt they could offer us, and completely rewrote a section of code for  us, using the new features while they were demonstrating it to us!  It was amazing and cool!

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

I haven't come across much I dislike.  They are just too agreeable and helpful!

**Recommendations to others considering Onspring:**

if you want a solution that is shareable, that you can manage knowing some HTML and web-based language, you can EASILY use Onspring!!   They will help you too if you need help and don't want to build things yourself!

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Onspring currently to manage our Audit Projects.  We consider them a potential solution for our Compliance program, and they can do anything with their Workflow capabilities, from Ticketing and Tracking programs to incident response programs to so much more.  I like their Dashboards showing me the next Audit items I need to work on!

Onspring is easy to change configuration on the fly. I have been able to create dashboards very quickly for each user

A few more out of the box integrations would be very useful, especially Office. We currently need to download a file to view it, but having an inbuilt opening of a document within office online would be great. It can then be saved back in Onspring

Tracking client requests and inquiries as well as Controls Management
Also developing Risk Management and Vendor tracking and also working on Asset Tracking

We are also working on using Onspring for survey's to support control validations

Onspring is very easy to use. Their platform is simple to understand which allows for easy design and configuration. Employees are able to quickly learn how to navigate through the tool, and also love the ability to build their own customized reports. So far, there have been very few "asks" that we haven't been able to configure within the system. 

Additionally, the customer support at Onspring is wonderful. The team is quick to respond and is willing to help troubleshoot any scenario. They constantly ask for feedback, and I actually see suggestions I make be implemented within the tool.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

I wish the survey function had more flexibility (e.g. ability to create surveys real-time from a bank of questions). Additionally, structuring access rights correctly can be a bit cumbersome.

It is the of use. Once you learn the in and outs which is intuitive you can create your own reports and dashboards. We updated a whole module by ourselves with minimal help from the Onspring consultants. We another system this would have cost thousands of dollars.

No system is perfect but there has not been anything that i have not disliked so far where it developed into a pet peeve.

We use for contract reviews and SOX testing. There are other ideas on the table but have not gotten around it.

There is not a downside that I can find at this time.

Ask them for a demo specific to your needs.  They are excellent at taking your process and putting together a view of what OnSpring would look and feel for you and your company.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

OnSpring has allowed us to manage our vendors in a whole new way. No longer are the details of an engagement stored in multiple areas, they are all right in here in one easy to use tool. The team at OnSpring is extremely helpful and the best group of people to work with. They are extremely flexible and understood our needs from the start. I cannot say enough about this company overall.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

At this point, I cannot think of a downside to Onspring. Everything we have needed OnSpring to do, it does!

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have the visibility into our agreements at a granular level that we never had in the past.  We are easily able to see agreement lifecycles,  expiration dates, and have the ability to mitigate risk of agreements renewing without our knowledge.  We also have a centralized repository to track our cost savings that we achieve year over year.

The overall Onspring platform is extremely reliable with superior performance. Configuring a unique solution for your business is so easy. It perfectly fits what you need.

I wish there were some free versions for non-profits or small religious organizations.

If considering Onspring, understand your own needs for today and in the near future, be able to communicate those, get a demo, get your team trained, and immersive your team in Onspring.

Automation of manual processes is where Onspring really shines. Opportunities to improve solutions already in Onspring can be realized within minutes. Managing large numbers of records within a process that continually needs to improve is easily accomplished with Onspring.

Onspring is simple to use and can do anything you want it to do.  

In addition, the customer service is fantastic.  Onspring support personnel have always responded in a very timely manner to all my questions.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

I can't think of any dislikes off the top of my head.  If I did have a "dislike", then Onspring support personnel would do everything in their power to address it (see "What Do You Like Best" Section?).

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are primary using Onspring for GRC purposes; however, it can  be used to solve a number of problems.

Their software is easy to use, it helps my company achieve our ERM, Vendor, and Contract goals, and their company is always willing to assist with any request that we may have.

The only suggestion to improve would be to add more content to their education and help features.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

Onspring is easy to use and for both new and current employees. It can be customised to the needs of our business. It's possible for any user to create a number of reports for their own use. 

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

There's a bit of learning curve for new employees but adapting to this software also takes a short time after which they can easily use this system. 

**Recommendations to others considering Onspring:**

The functionalities are exceptionally good. I highly recommend the software for any organization that is maybe working on the budget.

Onspring has enabled us to organize and retrieve audit work papers. This program has also helped us in our audit preparation. It allows configuration hence we can customize it to the needs of our organisation.

**What do you like best about Onspring?**

My favorite thing is that it is so easy to customize, obviously by the title of my review.  It is so incredibly flexible and changes are so easy to make.  There are no initial start up fees to worry about, nor long term contracts required.  You do not need to be an IT professional to figure out how to customize it for your companies biggest needs.  Customer support responds almost immediately.  I love the task tracking and task assignment features.  There is great help for any project manager, and with it's simple drag and drop interface, the most inexperienced user can easily navigate the system.  I am a fan of the web based platform.

**What do you dislike about Onspring?**

I really cannot thing of anything I dislike. I would recommend making the software available in other languages.  We tried to share it with overseas teams and it was unavailable in any language other than English.

**Recommendations to others considering Onspring:**

I would recommend this software to anyone .  Seriously, they have some of the best customer service that I have ever worked with!

**What problems is Onspring solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to utilize the reporting capabilities in ways I never even considered.  There are so many uses for this software, I am discovering new things all the time.
