The UI is very pretty and intuitive. I've tried integrating it through their amazing API and if worked flawlessly for us, though I'd prefer to have better rate limits.

Performance wise, most of the time we're satisfied with how long stuff takes to load, simulations take to run, etc. Pricing seems adequate and close to the market average. We'd probably be spending the same amount on other competitors.

Support has been great so far and I gotta say the onboarding was outstanding, Kelly has been super helpful.

The cloud base architecture opens up a lot of opportunities that Onshape utilize to bring a lot more functionalities than traditionnal cad. Such has collaboration, revision, having access to all your history. I use Onshape for my research and development projects, and I really appreciate its cloud-based capabilities. It solves the dependency on a dedicated high configuration PC by running smoothly in any browser, allowing me to work from almost anywhere, even on an Android tablet. I like its ability to create complex models and handle complex assemblies without any performance issues. The initial setup was also very easy and swift, which was a big plus for me. Onshape is stable - no crashing or freezing as is common with offline alternatives. The intuitive simultaneous editing allows teams to work on and prioritize work without a check-in/out procedure preventing access. Everyone has access to the most up to date state of the design.

Built-in versioning and revision control has been excellent as a small team, though we are excited to integrate with Arena for a true PLM experience.

We have had amazing support including monthly meetings with two representatives from Onshape who address our questions and concerns with respect and understanding. On the rare occasion that bugs cause issues in a document filing a support ticket gets helpful responses in less than 24 hours. All support has been knowledgeable and swift. Onshape can be slow to load at busy times of day. A limited number of servers may contribute to this.

Working with imported PCBA files can be challenging. Although there are tools to simplify these, like Fix PCB, it is common to have import issues that are hard to fix and leave the tree red. My team has not yet tried the PCB Studio which might help alleviate some of this issue. More/better integration with Altium would be awesome.

I dislike the release process and its tendency to clutter up the version tree with failures. Rejected releases should not be recorded as anything more than a version. We have also learned the hard way that we have to create a version to save changes in main before doing a release, as changes in main are not guaranteed to transfer. This is counterintuitive. I really appreciate that Onshape is cloud-based, so I don't have to worry about saving files or dealing with file management. It's fantastic being able to just share a link for design reviews, making collaboration super easy. It helps significantly with preventing data loss during internet outages or if my computer crashes, which is a relief. Onshape has also been a game-changer for my company by being easier to deploy and maintain than Solidworks, especially since we don't have an IT department. Running it in a web browser has saved us money since expensive laptops are unnecessary. The collaboration tools are top-notch, and I love the feature sets available in their Professional License. Setting up Onshape was a breeze, the easiest I've worked with, taking only about three hours to get 80% of what we needed up and running, all without any training. It's very intuitive. A couple of things, first, it would be nice if there was an offline mode. This isn't a huge deal but on rare occasions it would be nice to look at something, even a file saved on my hard drive when internet isn't available. Second, I wish the direct modeling tools were more robust. They are better than Solidworks but not as good as Solid Edge or Creo Elements Direct Modeling and I think they are missing out on some potential. I like how simple Onshape is to use. It really helps me to share my drawings across multiple users, clients, and suppliers, and displays my drawings well. I can test the products when I design custom hinges and hardware, and I also love that I can do 3D printing for different objects, which is really fantastic. I appreciate how they continuously update the products along with all their features and tools. The initial setup was very, very easy, and the training they provided was also easy to follow. On the drawings themselves, when converting things to drawings, I definitely see room for improvement there. It just seems to have difficulty creating your own templates. Even that in itself seems like too much hard work. It doesn't seem easy enough to just do a quick simple little drawing. Some sort of button that simplifies the process of quickly auto dimensioning would be helpful. I'm sure this won't work for everything, but something simple like a square plate should be easier.
