"Onsemble has simplified and modernized our Employee Intranet!"

What do you like best?

How easy it us to build professional-looking pages. Onsemble has given us the tools that not only make our pages visually appealing, but the build-in modules provide an additional level of functionality to streamline processes and work more efficiently.

What do you dislike?

On occasion, there are limits when it comes to the design of certain modules/islands such as Helpdesks, and Birthday/Anniversay Islands. There are times when we have the rest of our page built according to our branding and we would like the color/font of all the islands to be the same. I understand this is customization, but it would be nice to see a certain level of options available to customize this ourselves. I've brought this up to our Customer Success Manager, who is great at suggesting our ideas to the Passageways Technical team to see if this can be implemented in the future, so I hope to see it soon.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Onsemble not only provides user-friendly tools to create impressive pages, but they also offer fantastic customer service and technical support to guide you along the way. I also love to check out the Onsemble Community Page for different ideas on how other institutions are using the software. You never feel like you are alone in coming up with ideas, or organizing information, or any other roadblock that might come up. Our relationship with the Onsemble staff has empowered us to be able to create an intranet that is easily manageable for years to come.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Communication. Our Employee Intranet is widely used by our institution, and is critical when getting information out to everyone. Passageways offers many different solutions for us. We use Announcements when we are needing push out important information. We also utilize the Calendar option as a means for signing up for Training Classes, and also to inform employees of different events that are coming up.

"Easy and fun to use!"

What do you like best?

The system is easy to use, anyone of any skill level can learn quickly how to build pages. We have significantly increased staff engagement with the many features available such as employee recognition and all-staff announcements.

Support staff is quick, attentive, and accommodating with any requests we have-it’s apparent they listen to client suggestions as we’ve seen several of ours been implemented.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing to dislike of the portal itself. There continues to be version upgrades to continually enhance the experience.

It would benefit us and other clients if there were an increase in activity in the client community to share tips, ideas, and experiences.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were able to decrease severs from 3 to 1. Email clutter was significantly reduced due to the optional notifications and announcements module. Staff engagement has increased and continues to rise thanks to the employee recognition module.

"Passageways is great to work with and offer a great product that we can customize to our needs."

What do you like best?

Having the ability to get quick assistance on any questions or concerns we have has always been a bonus. OnSemble itself is easy enough for our users to use that it requires minimal instruction from a training standpoint.

What do you dislike?

The one thing that I really dislike is the help desk functionality. It is extremely cumbersome from the perspective of working the tickets submitted that when email notifications are sent that any replies to the email are not added to the help desk tickets. If you want anything added to the ticket you have to add comments, which is not always more efficient than just replying to an email. When this happens we lose the ability to track help desk tickets and their outcome.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Sharing documents not only within departments but company wide. We also have a virtual bulletin board that allows for employees to post items they are looking to sale or searching for, which seams to work well for them.

"New Portal Admin"

What do you like best?

Convenient way to share information with all employees quickly and in one location. The one stop place for accurate information!

What do you dislike?

Being new as a Portal Admin I don't know how to fix or solve all issues yet. Still learning wish I could remember how to do everything. Creating my own how to book of instructions. Would be great to have a book of instructions to refer to as needed.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Have one designated person over seeing the Portal, so they can become the go to person for everything. They would also be able to spend time teaching people on how to build pages.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The OnSemble Intranet Portal allows information to be published accurately to all employees. All manuals containing procedures, policies and updates on a timely basis. Having this ability minimizes errors. Employees enjoy the "employee recognition" we have on the front page. It's a great way to engage employees throughout the day.

"Onsemble Ambassador"

What do you like best?

The overall experience and the platform is amazing. The lion share of my praise is to the Implementation manager Courtney Felt. Without her I highly doubt our Portal would have launched. Her knowledge base of the Onsemble platform and attention to detail is astounding. As much as I get praised for creating an immersive Intranet, I know it's partly due to Courtney's constant support.

The support team is nothing like I have ever experienced. Their response time and follow through is indeed a standard for the industry of IT support, this deserves 100% not 99% satisfaction.

What do you dislike?

A missing mobile platform and the non responsiveness to different screen sizes for the desktops version.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Lean into the relationship with your Implementation manager. They are your "Tour Guide" through your implementation process. Attend PowWoW!!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Wow!...I can spend literally hours writing about my extreme satisfaction with this software.

It has allowed our team to experience another level of employee engagement . The ease of use and the “drag and drop” feature has afforded a team of 2 to be nimble with the results and appearance of a team of 10. Our Executive leadership team believes transparency is the currency of leadership and the Onsemble platform has afforded them the opportunity to live out this value. From just-in-time information, thoughts on upcoming and/or current changes, future business strategies and recorded quarterly messages. This software has been a catalyst to our increased employee engagement scores.

"Great overall concept, very cumbersome technology"

What do you like best?

The flexibility of the product to make it everything we'd like it to be. All of the features cover the options we we needed. It was a faster option than completely building out a new intranet ourselves.

What do you dislike?

Not mobile responsive like the website says. Once we got the product, we realized much of the implementation was very manual and not very intuitive. Much of the technology seems a bit outdated and is a little clunky to use.

We had a lot of technical issues throughout the set up process and there were a lot of kinks to work out of the initial product we received.

Not the most user friendly interface, and editing different sections and permissions are very scattered across various settings.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you have a web development team that can be dedicated to this project, I can see a better adoption and user interface to it.

We have a central location for all of our information, policies, forms and marketing tools. It gives us a common place to direct employees with questions.

"A very unique, customizable, and easy to use portal. There is something for everyone! "

What do you like best?

The OnSemble Intranet Portal is a virtual space where employees can share ideas, knowledge, documents and workflows from any office or department as if they were sitting in the same room.

What do you dislike?

For me, the need to update and work with SQL is hard since I don't have this ability or knowledge. For this reason, I am heavily reliant on our IT Systems Admin.

I would really like better control of permissions. For instance, I would like to have permissions for a particular page rather than the entire workgroup. I would like more customization that it currently controlled by a CSS to be integrated into the portal so that people without design experience can more easily make those custom changes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The Passageways Team treat their clients well. Always willing to listen and are quick to answer questions. I love that our portal can be anything we dream up...not one portal is a like, endless possibilities.

Develop a detailed project plan prior to implementing. Start small and add on as needed. OnSemble has a lot to offer and at times its hard to choose where to begin or what to do next. Work closely with your CSM, they provide great service and share best practices from other organizations.

our Portal has the ability to change how our organization communicates with employees, which can drive real change, create more efficient workflow processes, greater employee satisfaction, stronger working relationships, increase employee retention, and have a positive impact on our Net Promotor Score.

Consistency in accessing forms, documents, manuals and procedures. Staff collaboration - Ability for staff to know various departments - who to call. Internal department Pages - able to access all you need to do your job. Public department Pages - a place for all staff to get information they need from other departments as well as who to call.

"Fantastic Product"

What do you like best?

I like the flexibility and the ease of use. Once we rolled out our portal to our entire staff we received loads of positive feedback.

What do you dislike?

I do not care for the limits on the button islands. I would also like to easily to be able to add background images or boarders to islands without having to do a PTE in the background or manipulate the HTML code.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Mobile app, integrated calendars with outlook, better document management.

We are solving the issue of not being able to find anything in the intranet. We have made out new intranet a place where all of our team members want to go. We have created a space to share not only our work lives but our personal lives as well.

"Great company with great people and a great product"

What do you like best?

Customer support is superior and always responsive. It's easy to learn how to build pages and brand. They also continue to make product enhancements to meet customer needs. The product is really improving and going to be even better with their upcoming release later this year. (Just learned about it a their annual conference, PowWow!) They work really closely with all their customers and actually listen to feedback, then use it to make improvements. Being at their annual conference and getting to meet their team has really made me an even happier customer. They truly are all very kind people and lovely to work with. They love their customers and it shows!

What do you dislike?

Sometimes the look and feel of the product can seem old, similar to an outdated Microsoft product. BUT with all the customization available it is possible to make your site look and feel more modern. They're also coming out with new improvements to change this. There's a few kinks/bugs they need to work through and I'm confident that they will.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's helpful to have some basic design skills when starting to build from scratch, but if not their team will definitely help you.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed to improve our employee intranet. We wanted to make it more collaborative and social, and create a tool that employees would actually enjoy using. We've been able to empower employees and give them a chance to build the intranet they wanted and needed. Employees were able to learn to build pages quickly and adopt to their specific department needs. We've seen improved engagement and use over all compared to our old intranet.

"OnSemble Intranet"

What do you like best?

OnSemble Intranet has been an amazing culture building tool for our organization. It has helped us increase buy-in to the bank's vision and mission across the entire organization from tellers all the way up to our highest level executives. It has also unified a community across branches and markets.

What do you dislike?

We honestly wouldn't change anything. We love the product.

Do it. This has been the single best culture building tool we have implemented in our bank.

By using the OnSemble Intranet Portal, we have unified employees across branches and communities. It is effective for communicating information and building a strong, unified culture and increasing buy in to the bank's vision and mission across all employees from tellers all the way up to executives.

"Easy to use product with even better employees. "

What do you like best?

The passageways portal is so user friendly. You don’t need an IT degree to figure out how to build it or use it. But not only is the portal great, the Passageways staff is amazing to work with. I haven’t met a single one who isn’t cheerful and helpful every time I call.

What do you dislike?

I 100% truly cannot come up with a dislike. I think there are things that will improve on their own with time and with more industries joining Passageways. When I see updates they’re for things I always didn’t know I needed. Which makes them great.

We are solving so many issues with our portal. Employee recognition, message boards, documents and even management blogs. It’s really going to be a “one stop shop” for our team.

"Easy to Use"

What do you like best?

Once the page is set up, users being able to navigate and interact is very easy to pick up on - even for those non-technical staff.

What do you dislike?

Some of the sorting and editing with islands could be better.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Just like most things - the more planning you do ahead of time the better the result will be later. Having a plan and putting it into action works great. Then once you have it up and running, you will find other uses and can build from there.

It is a great way to keep staff on the same page. To make sure everyone has access to the same information which builds consistency.

"Excellent way to get your company on the same page"

What do you like best?

It provides one place for all staff to share ideas, find commonly used links or documents, ask for help via a help desk and so much more. There are a wide variety of tools for various needs. Very customizable to an organization.

What do you dislike?

There is a slight learning curve to the platform but there are many helpful training documents that walk you thru the various pieces.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have branches spread out over the state. This makes us all feel more connected with each other and with headquarters.

What do you like best?

With OnSemble we were able to implement all of the items and features we have been looking for as a company. It has simplified processes and improved communication and ease of access to information significantly

What do you dislike?

Some of the set up and permissions are kind of hard to figure out but once knowledge of the system increased it became easier.

"Great customer support"

What do you like best?

Great customer support, helpful people. We felt like Passageways was as invested in our project as we were.

What do you dislike?

OnSemble is a blank slate, which leaves you a lot of ability to customize but can be challenging if you don't have a vision of how you want to organize your site.

"Great Intranet"

What do you like best?

OnSemble's Intranet Portal is easy to build for individuals with no coding experience, and easy to use for those employees who don't like adapting to new technologies. It's a win-win for both sides!

What do you dislike?

Speed of the intranet can be slow, and we've received a lot of feedback regarding it's compatibility with our remote-network employees.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We love how easy it is to communicate with our employees, and the small-scale engagement it brings to the company.

"Empowering"

What do you like best?

I've become a helpdesk wizard and probably overuse this tool.

What do you dislike?

There's a few quirks here and there. However Passageways really listens I know that my issues will soon be a thing of the past.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Communication, Organization,tracking and Oversight. As I mentioned before, I overuse the help desk module. Without this ticketing system my team would not be as efficient as it is. Previous to this we used email, there was many requests that fell through the cracks because we did not have a way to manage incoming tickets.

"Great product and customer service"

What do you like best?

I like best that this product is a powerful tool but also very easy to learn and use. The customer service aspect is huge in implementing this and everyone has been so helpful.

What do you dislike?

There are some features that aren't customizable. I have only found this in very specific cases.

We are using this to make our intranet streamlined and fun to use. We are also using it to make documents on the intranet easy to find.

Easy to make real time changes, set up islands, and manage all aspects of the portal. Account Manager and tech support are great.

"Great Intranet Platform"

What do you like best?

Getting relevant content to our staff in an easy to use way is awesome! Making this quick is the best part for our team.

"Great for organizations strapped for resources"

What do you like best?

Easy to use because it is drag-and-drop, which is great for organizations strapped for resources (both time and talent).

What do you dislike?

If you want more in-depth customization, you need to alter the CSS. I would love an undo and a redo button.

Cutting down on the number of emails we send out, as well as better organizing all of our documents, procedures, and other information in one convenient location.

Glitches, like carousels breaking, EIM not opening, and backgrounds on pages not changing
