It brings together security practitioners, hardware vendors and learners in one place built around four activities: compete, train, learn and share. Most online security training concentrates on theory and web applications. OnlySecurity covers those, and goes further into areas that are hard to learn from text alone: physical security and covert entry, lock picking, RFID and access control, wireless auditing, IoT radio protocols (LoRa, BLE, Zigbee and Sub-GHz), magstripe and EMV payment security, industrial control systems, and cloud and container security. Many courses are hardware led, teaching tools such as the Proxmark, Flipper Zero and its add-ons, and Hak5 devices including the WiFi Pineapple and Shark Jack. Several are written by the companies that make the hardware, including Electronic Cats and Dangerous Things. For learners, OnlySecurity is free to join and much of the catalogue is free to start. Paid courses are bought individually, with no subscription. Learning paths group short courses in order for a role such as physical penetration tester or RFID assessor, and each finished course earns a badge. Quizzes, assignments marked by the trainer and certificates turn study into evidence, and learners build a profile that recruiters and employers can verify. Points, ranks and a public leaderboard reward progress, and a community area lets members ask questions and share what they know. For trainers, OnlySecurity is a non-exclusive course marketplace. Instructors keep ownership of their content, can sell the same course elsewhere, and can withdraw it at any time. Trainers keep 75% to 90% of net sales depending on plan, and the platform pays card processing fees. The Basic plan has no monthly cost, and optional plans lower the commission and unlock extra features. Trainers can build courses from video lessons, quizzes and assignments, run live classes, bundle courses together, and see analytics on learners and earnings. OnlySecurity has more than 38,000 members in 100 countries, more than 50 courses from over 30 instructors, and an average course rating of 4.9 from more than 200 reviews. It is run by KSEC, a UK supplier of security research hardware with eight years in the security industry, which started building courses to help customers get the most from the tools they bought. OnlySecurity suits penetration testers, red teamers, physical security assessors, hardware and IoT researchers, security teams that need training on record, and practitioners who want to teach and earn from their expertise.
