The ease of use, very immediate to understand how to implement the features you need and to customize attributes, questions and workflow to meet the company style and procedures. Truly multilanguages interface, covers all countries where the Company has offices. Asset Map and Cross-Border map are very nice features. A complete offer of modules to manage data protection, privacy and all related requirements, from training to global guidance. It is continuously updated and upfeatured and when you start thinking you'd need something, be sure it'll be available on the next release. Support is really cooperative and quick at answers. Switching through modules could be made easier, always have to click the home button. New releases and new features keep coming every three weeks, a bit too much to keep pace. What do you dislike about OneTrust Privacy Automation? Sometimes the time to load the modules can be a bit slow. But I don't know if it is on my end or theirs, it can be my connection. I'm using this tool to provide better privacy compliance programs for clients. The information is better cataloged and the dashboard view are easy to use. The people at OneTrust are responsive, friendly, and are great to work with. They listen and work to implement real world use cases. What do you dislike about OneTrust Privacy Automation? OneTrust is a relatively young company and what I like and dislike roll into the same thing. They are responsive and use an Agile methodology for updating their product, which is great. However, the release notes are frequent, and are not available until the same day the update is available in pre-production, only giving a week until the features are available in production, and it is cumbersome to keep up with the changes and know which features are now available that you've been waiting for. Recommendations to others considering OneTrust Privacy Automation: OneTrust is a powerful data privacy tool that has everything you need to get compliant with the most sophisticated global privacy laws. The innovation that the OneTrust team brings is unmatched with their competition and the best part of it all is that they continuously add new features to the platform based on customer and partner feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is OneTrust Privacy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you? Every engagement I have been on has involved a comprehensive review of the company's data privacy landscape. When assessing against GDPR and/or CCPA many are still at the beginning or have nothing at all. OneTrust solves this problem by mapping everything together and separating each requirement out as stated in the law for companies to get compliant with the law. For example, an inventory can be easily imported and/or manually added into the platform very easily. The hard part is capturing all the data, but OneTrust makes this easy by providing a number of templates that fit the business needs and the requirements laid out in the law. The data mapping module which houses the record of processing activities for each asset and business function is tied to the vendor management module, which easily maps together to show which third party vendors are related to each asset the company uses. Another area of focus is Data Subject Access Request (DSAR). OneTrust makes this easy by again providing templates to use to send and respond to emails raised by a data subject requesting his/her data. This all flows through a customized workflow that also is created by the OneTrust team, but you are able to customize it to fit business needs. The time limit is also set so you get notifications to complete so you never have to worry about one going unanswered. The OneTrust platform in general is a powerful data privacy tool that has since expanded to take on other areas, such as SOX and GRC capabilities, that may in time outperform competitors such as WDesk.
