It's nice to house all documents in a single location for easy viewing and saving. The software looks professional and the message board and groups allow our board members to communicate confidentially in the platform. **What do you dislike about OnBoard Board Management Software?** The Zoom integration was a downside for our Board, and we switched back to using Zoom for meetings. There is not as much automation was we'd hoped, which made for more work for our team in setting up the software. **What problems is OnBoard Board Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having all documents and meeting invites in a single platform. ### 3. Sometimes folks forget the formatting requirements (doc., pdf., etc,,,) when uploading a document or do not know how to upload a landscape document vs. portrait. It does take a while to get used to new features after an upgrade. I did not like the change to icons on the menu bar, even though you can click on an icon for the menu words. While upgrades are good, OnBoard seems to be catered more towards the younger generation. Our more mature executives have a harder time navigating the site. They do not like having to download a new application after an upgrade or deleting/adding a new "short-cut" on their desktop. **What problems is OnBoard Board Management Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Online resource for board reports. Eliminates the need for having to support a back-up server for board documents. **Official Response from Daniel Dippel:** > We are now introducing the ability to schedule your updates (we are the first in the industry to do so), so you can decide when to do them (e.g. after a board meeting scheduled in the near future). As for the updates, they are generally a necessary evil. We want to stay ahead of security risks and also want to leverage new functionality that the mobile operating systems offer. We realize getting used to something new can take time, however we try to balance that against overall design improvements and adding new functionality. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and we hope long-term you will get the most out of the upgrades.
