OmniStar Ethics is cloud-based research ethics and governance management software for universities and research institutes worldwide, and the hospitals and health services they work with. It runs human, animal, biosafety and gene technology ethics review and research governance in one ready-to-use, flexible platform, from a single application through committee review, approval, amendments, safety reports and final reports. It integrates with HR systems, animal management systems and other corporate systems, so researchers and committees aren’t retyping data. Institutions use OmniStar to replace dated standalone systems and cut the time staff spend re-entering data. Clients include NHMRC, the University of Sydney and Sunway University. OmniStar is ISO 27001 certified, hosts each client’s data in their own region and is assessed to the Australian Government’s IRAP PROTECTED level.
