Omnifold is founded by AI researchers who have trained frontier models at OpenAI, Adept, Google, and Meta — they develop a new class of reasoning models, purpose-built to solve complex forecasting and optimization. Unlike conventional statistical or ML models that extrapolate from history, Omnifold’s technology combines an understanding of how supply chains operate with the ability to reason through complex business decisions, constraints, and trade-offs. Omnifold tailors the algorithm to each company’s unique supply chain, and trains the model on their data. This is completely different from “an LLM trained on your data”, as the underlying structure of the algorithm itself would be tailored to each customer. Omnifold’s models have delivered 20-40% reduction in inventory, transportation cost, waste, and lost sales compared to statistical and ML approaches found in planning systems or built by data science teams.
