Based on a natural setting, it effectively insulates your mind from distractions and sets up a direct line between your thoughts and your words. ## OmmWriter Reviews ### 1. Beautiful, Simplistic Design that Actually Helps You Focus **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Amy T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2020 **What do you like best about OmmWriter?** I have tried several writing software and apps, including Microsoft Word which has a "focus" mode, but Omm Writer has been the program that I keep going back to. I even have it permanently added to my ribbon on my Mac so that I can easily pull it up whenever I have to focus and write an important email, draft an academic assignment, or even experiment with a creative writing project. The features are simple and are ones that you will actually use, like adjusting the background image and sound. There aren't any frills that make it difficult to master or distracting. **What do you dislike about OmmWriter?** I wish that there were a few more backgrounds, but that is a very minor issue. When I downloaded Omm Writer, it was provided on a donation basis but I don't know if they still have this model. **Recommendations to others considering OmmWriter:** OmmWriter's best feature is its simplicity and its ability to help you concentrate on actual writing. I would recommend checking out their website because they have a free trial that you can test out before actually downloading/purchasing OmmWriter. **What problems is OmmWriter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Writer's block is real.
