  ### 1. Flexible Platform, Significant Implementation Investment Required

**What do you like best about Omatic Software?**

Omatic showed the potential to automate processes that would otherwise be very manual and offered a flexible integration platform for organizations using systems such as Raiser’s Edge. The consultants we worked with were knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in our success throughout the onboarding process.From a functionality perspective, the platform appeared capable of handling complex integrations and workflow customization. Performance was generally stable in our experience, and the cloud tools offered a modern approach to automation. The user experience, however, required a significant learning investment, particularly when moving between the newer cloud platform and some of the legacy integration tools.While we did not ultimately implement every workflow we had planned, that was due to a combination of platform complexity, implementation effort, staffing changes, and competing priorities within our organization. For teams with dedicated capacity to build, test, and refine workflows, the product offers considerable flexibility and automation potential.The biggest strength of Omatic is its customization capability and the expertise of its implementation team. Organizations with sufficient internal resources are likely to realize a stronger return on investment than organizations looking for a more plug-and-play solution.

**What do you dislike about Omatic Software?**

The biggest challenge for our organization was the amount of time, customization, and internal capacity required to fully realize the value of the platform. While Omatic is flexible, we found that many workflows required significantly more configuration and refinement than we initially expected.The onboarding process was helpful, but it was difficult to complete all of the desired workflows within the implementation period. We also found the transition between Omatic Cloud concepts and the legacy Raiser's Edge integration tools somewhat confusing at times, which added to the learning curve. Our implementation took longer than anticipated and, due to a combination of platform complexity, staffing changes, and competing priorities within our organization, we never fully implemented every workflow we had planned. As a result, it was difficult to achieve the anticipated return on investment within our timeframe. Finally, we would have appreciated more contract flexibility. When our organization's technology strategy changed and we decided to move away from Raiser's Edge, there was limited ability to adjust the agreement despite the product no longer aligning with our future direction.

**What problems is Omatic Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omatic was intended to help us automate data movement and workflow processes that would otherwise require significant manual effort, particularly within our fundraising and Raiser's Edge environment. The primary value proposition was reducing repetitive administrative work, improving data consistency, and creating more efficient integrations between systems. During our implementation, we were able to see the potential benefits of those automations and understand how they could save time in the future. However, fully realizing those benefits required more customization, workflow design, and implementation effort than we initially expected. Due to a combination of platform complexity, staffing changes, and competing priorities within our organization, we did not complete every workflow we had originally planned.That said, the platform demonstrated how organizations with dedicated implementation resources could automate complex processes and reduce manual data management tasks. For teams willing to invest the time required to build and maintain workflows, Omatic has the potential to deliver meaningful efficiency gains and improved data quality.

**What do you like best about Omatic Software?**

The software has allowed us to create information flow from one software to another with a lot of ease.

**What do you dislike about Omatic Software?**

The learning curve was a little bit of a struggle, but that was our fault since we were unable to fully utilize   the available training, which I highly recommend taking full advantage of... but the support is also very active and has solved nearly all of our issues. Some issues are not the fault of Omatic since the source of data has not allowed all needed fields to be API, which can create challenges, but still doable.

**What problems is Omatic Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to pull data from our processor into our CRM using Omatic Cloud, without using flat files or manual data entry

**What do you like best about Omatic Software?**

I have been using Omatic Software for about three years at my business, and I find it very helpful for updating event registrations, especially since there is no native integration between Eventbrite and our Blackbaud CRM. Omatic Software fills this gap effectively by allowing us to manually input CSV or Excel files and map them into CRM, which is incredibly useful for handling our data. I appreciate the ability of Omatic to bulk add constituents efficiently, as I was able to add about a thousand constituents in one go, which is quite a significant feat. The software also excels in matching event registrants to our existing CRM records, which simplifies our event processes immensely. During the transition from Omatic to Omatic Cloud, I appreciated the intuitive design of Omatic's help articles that allowed me to independently set up formulas needed for the switchover. This aspect significantly reduced the daunting nature of the task, enabling a smooth transition. Furthermore, I find the matching algorithm particularly beneficial; it assists me in accurately aligning data from spreadsheets into our CRM, which is crucial for maintaining our database integrity. Overall, the capabilities of Omatic make data integration tasks much more manageable and enhance operational efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Omatic Software?**

I find the process of updating relationships in Oomatic Cloud cumbersome and not intuitive, leading to mistaken relationships.","The transition from regular Oumatic to Oumatic Cloud was challenging as it required rewriting formulas, which was daunting due to my lack of experience.

**What problems is Omatic Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find the product bridges gaps between Eventbrite and Blackbaud CRM, simplifying bulk event registrations and constituent management, making the process efficient and error-free.

I really appreciate how much customization this tool offers when importing data from various sources. Setting up the imports is straightforward, and once they're configured, using them is incredibly simple. It has saved our team countless hours every week!
I also really love the onboarding process, it's VERY thorough for users of any experience and the support desk is always very quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Omatic Software?**

Omatic Cloud isn't as intuitive as the original ImportOmatic, but it does provide significantly more options for customization.

**What problems is Omatic Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ImportOmatic allows us to import data from multiple sources quickly and accurately, while also avoiding instances of duplicate constituents.

The ability to set up on profile for recurring imports instead of continually adding columns to spreadsheets, the ability to identify duplicates before importing

**What do you dislike about Omatic Software?**

Can take time to set up initially, the recognition of duplicate phone and email could use some work

**What problems is Omatic Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ImportOmatic as a replacement for the native import tool in Raiser's Edge. ImportOmatic is far more intuitive and you can set up profiles for recurring imports. I have saved hours and hours of tedious work with the plain-language mapping in IOM. I finally embraced the cloud-based version about six months ago and I've found myriad ways to automate my data flow between my CRM and Mailchimp.

**What do you like best about Omatic Software?**

Omatic Software has made such a difference in our lives. Once we created the formats in Omatic, the import process for our graduates in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge is almost seamless.   Our move to the cloud-based version was easy.  Excellen training and customer support

**What do you dislike about Omatic Software?**

The inability to import 'Fund' information.  Once the apis are developed, this will be welcome addition.

The ability to import data quickly, efficiently, and accurately.

**What do you like best about Omatic Software?**

The wide spread capability for transforming data from various systems. I like having the options to transform data from one system to integrate with another. It is also useful to have a schedule and have it pull from various sources so not all of the importing relies on human interaction.

**What do you dislike about Omatic Software?**

The amount of time it takes to process or push data can be frustrating. While I understand this isn’t entirely Omatic’s fault, the delay often leads me to continue handling some processes manually because of how long it takes.

**What problems is Omatic Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omatic addresses the challenge of integrating multiple systems efficiently, ensuring that our data remains consistent across all platforms.

Currently it is a third party platfrom rather than builtin within our CRM and the time difference for Australia makes difficult to partake in any webinars live because of the time difference.

It is helping mass import data easily saving a lot of time and money.
