Ease of use, quick, authenticating once for the day is usually enough.

 ### 8. All your work tools in one secure place with SSO and MFA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiri F. | Horse Trainer, Independent Contractor- A/V, Sports and film production, MLB tracking operations, model/actor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta provides one secure space for all your applications and provides the single sign on feature. The mobile version of the software is pretty good and probably simpler to use because of the MFA.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

A few of the single apps are glitchy or require additional password information which was confusing at first. While high security is an important aspect that makes Okta great I would like the option to pause being logged out over a long day in case I do take my phone away from the computer which is needed for the MFA and/or have another option for the multi factor authentication

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta provides a fairly simple to use platform to keep all your work tools in one secure place so they can be easily accessed and found.

 ### 9. Okta Makes Fast, Hassle-Free Navigation Easy

It’s convenient having all my apps in one place, so everything is easy to find in one area.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like how it integrates seamlessly with the sign-in process, eliminating the need for a physical key and requiring virtually no extra time or effort from the user. From a performance perspective, it works well and provides a great overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The VPN connection does not seem to work well with Okta. Additionally, there are times when it takes a long time for the sign-in prompt to appear, which can delay the login process.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

phishing-resistant methods for privileged users

 ### 11. Ensuring Strong, Consistent Security Across All Users and Devices

 ### 12. Convenient One-Stop Access with Single Sign-On

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inma B. | L&D Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

All company platforms access is in one place. You log in once in the morning, and normally you don't have to log in again, as it's very convenient

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

For some platforms, I have to log in independently of the first login in the morning, not sure why

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta has made a big difference in how we manage access across all our tools. Before using it, things like logging into multiple platforms, resetting passwords, or granting access to new joiners were quite manual and sometimes messy.

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

With other two-factor authentication platforms, the code sometimes gets stuck and won’t refresh unless you restart the app. Okta, on the other hand, has been flawless for me so far. I’ve been using it for over a year to log in to our company portals, as well as to client logins.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps enhance data security by enabling two-factor authentication.

Okta goes beyond being just an identity provider and allows you to actually take action within the connected applications

It’s really convenient to have all my applications in one place and access them through SSO, so I don’t have to manage multiple passwords anymore.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The initial setup can be a bit complex, and the interface may feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users.

I use Okta for SSO access, providing secure and accessible login, approved by my security team.

 ### 19. Optimize UX and Strengthen Access Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

SSO integrations have been critical in optimizing UX and Okta has helped us ensure appropriate security and access management. I am not part of the cybersecurity/IT organization (I am Talent/Learning). I am easily able to understand and manage groups I am responsible for and only need additional help from high-level folks if there is a larger issue with birthright applications.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

When managing groups, it is way too easily to make changes to accidentally add too many. One of the options allows you to search, and my search results came up with ~300 (correct amount) and I clicked "Add All" - which ended up adding 20k people in our enterprise. Luckily there weren't any notifications or emails, but it took a significant amount of time for them all to be added, then I had to delete EVERYONE out of the group, and readd the 800 people (original 500+new 300). It was awful.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing our employees to have a singular landing page and eliminate multiple systems for them to log-in and try to manage their passwords. We have a mostly desk-less workforce, and if we want them to engage with the tools that we provide to them we have to make it easy. Okta makes this happen.

 ### 20. Easy 2FA Management with All Apps in One Dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leo G. | Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It is an easy way to use 2FA and have all the apps within a single dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Timeouts, sometimes you need to reauthenticate too many times.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Okta we are avoiding having 20+ login/password combinations per employee.

 ### 21. Secure and Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal G. | Computer Scientist, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Strong security and reliability. Works great for any small or large organisations.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Admin experience could be more intuitive

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta reduced friction in authentication and user management, letting teams focus on work instead of access issues.

 ### 22. Efficient Integrations but Flawed Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oleksandr K. | Director of Infrastructure, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta has a lot of pre-configured integrations and excellent guidance. The API is good and makes it easy to add new applications to Okta. I also appreciate how the API facilitates integration with the HR platform and supports automations. Additionally, I enjoy how Okta is integrated with a lot of software, like Google Workspace and Slack.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The search feature is awful; it can't search by the middle of a pattern. For example, if you need to find a group named access_slack_users, you can't find it by searching 'slack'.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for user authentication, application management, and provisioning. It solves single-sign-on issues, establishes a point of trust for users, and manages the employee lifecycle.

 ### 23. One Platform for All Our Identity Needs – Okta Delivers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** annpurna S. | Marketing Data Ops Lead, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is the seamless access it provides to all our Anaplan tools from a single platform. I don’t need to log in separately to each application—Okta handles it all with secure single sign-on. The Okta Verify feature adds an extra layer of protection, making the entire experience both convenient and secure.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

For large-scale teams like ours at Anaplan, even small delays in access provisioning can slow down productivity.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Anaplan, this has significantly reduced the time spent managing logins across multiple platforms and tools. It ensures only the right people have access to the right systems, enhancing security and compliance. Okta’s automation also helps during onboarding and offboarding, improving efficiency for both IT and operations teams.

 ### 24. comprehensive platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel A. | Information Technology Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Okta provides a simpler and more secure authentication experience for users.
It reduces friction during login while maintaining strong security controls.
Overall, it makes access to applications easier without compromising protection.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Okta could improve its certificate management capabilities.
The process for issuing and rotating certificates is not always straightforward.
Enhancing this area would reduce administrative effort and operational risk.

**Recommendations to others considering Okta:**

keep in mind that not all apps are in there however you can create it, also there is a lot to grow so make sure you select the right plan

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

automation, user creation, SSO accounts, and Lycycle management. among others, also is easy for us the IT have everything in single location and easy to manage as well

 ### 25. Powerful, Secure SSO with Smooth MFA

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Centralized identity and access management that simplifies sign-in across multiple applications

Strong security features like multi-factor authentication and adaptive access policies

Smooth single sign-on experience that reduces password fatigue for users

Easy integration with a wide range of enterprise and cloud applications

Clear visibility and control for admins over user access and lifecycle management

Scales well as teams and systems grow without adding complexity

Improves both security and user experience at the same time

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Setup and configuration can feel complex, especially for first-time admins

Troubleshooting authentication or policy issues isn’t always intuitive

The admin interface has a learning curve and can feel overwhelming

Costs can add up as features, users, or integrations scale

Custom workflows sometimes require deeper technical expertise than expected

Error messages during login failures aren’t always user-friendly or self-explanatory

Bottom line:
Okta is powerful and secure, but that power comes with complexity and cost. It works best when there’s strong admin expertise behind it, otherwise, it can feel heavier than necessary.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the problem of managing multiple logins by providing single sign-on, which saves time and reduces password fatigue

Strengthens security through multi-factor authentication and access policies, lowering the risk of unauthorized access

 ### 26. Simple, Secure Access to All Company Apps in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doaa Y. | Recruiting Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It does provide secure way to log in to different programs/software related to the company and it is very simple to do it once you log in via okta and verify your email, you do have the access to all the applications there in Okta with secure way. I love the tile/icon for Okta that you are able to add it in your right upper hand side so you can easily access any application you need.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I believe only the additional step to log in however it is very easy and not considered a con in fact it is more security for your work account.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 27. Flexible, Dependable Logins with Okta’s Multi-Factor Options

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta gives me multiple ways to log in. Being able to authenticate with my phone or a security key is really convenient, and having those choices makes the login process feel more flexible and dependable overall.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Sometimes the login process feels a bit slow because it requires multiple authentication steps. While I understand the importance of security, a more streamlined experience would be appreciated.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps keep my accounts secure while making it easy to access the tools I need for work. Having secure authentication options in one place gives me confidence that my account is protected and simplifies the login experience across different applications.

 ### 28. Okta Streamlines Our Logins and Synchronization Seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I appreciate Okta most for how effortlessly it centralizes identity and access management. It handles all of our authentication and synchronization needs in one place, and it integrates cleanly with the systems we rely on every day—Workday, ServiceNow, ADP, Teams, and Zoom. Because those connections are seamless, users get a smooth login experience and administrators get a platform that reduces friction, improves security, and keeps everything in sync without constant oversight. It turns what used to be a complex, scattered process into something simple and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I’m not a fan of the Okta Mobile experience. Compared to the desktop client, the mobile app feels clunky and unintuitive. Tasks that are quick and seamless on the desktop—like navigating between apps or approving authentication requests—often take more steps or feel less responsive on mobile. The inconsistency between the two platforms makes the mobile version noticeably harder to use and less efficient.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves the complexity of managing identities and access across a large ecosystem of applications. By serving as our single sign‑on and identity and access management platform, it eliminates the need for multiple passwords, reduces login friction, and centralizes user provisioning. Because it integrates smoothly with the 40+ applications we rely on, it streamlines onboarding, offboarding, and day‑to‑day access changes. The result is a more secure environment, fewer administrative headaches, and a much more efficient experience for both users and IT.

 ### 29. Outstanding Security Features Make Okta a Top Choice

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish D. | Staff Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

This is a secure solution for centralized authentication and serves as a reliable identity provider.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It's hard to say, since Okta is currently the market leader in identity services. However, the licensing costs are somewhat high, which makes it challenging for smaller organizations to adopt this product.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta addresses the challenge of fragmented identity and access control by unifying authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management for all applications. This centralization has drastically reduced our complexity in identity management and SSO integrations. The wide range of Out of the box applications for integration makes it very seamless to integrated your on-prem or cloud native tools and services. Few key features to call out are Adaptive MFA, Device context and risk based authentication policies.

 ### 30. Incredibly Reliable Online and Offline

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasja S. | Operations Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I find it incredibly reliable when it comes to use both online and offline

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Not much, it never game me any issues. The problems I usually had were with the times it locked me out but this was usually due to a company policy of updating our passwords ever 6 months

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MFA can be annoying but I do find that Okta makes it seem less versus other MFA platforms

 ### 31. Nice, Easy-to-Use SSO That Integrates with Almost Every Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Nice and easy to use, and it integrates single sign-on with almost every service online.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

For our use case, we have to work with two Okta accounts (tenants), and switching back and forth between them can be cumbersome at times.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly to solve authentication and authorization issues. This works well with many of our services and also helps a lot when offboarding users.

 ### 33. Effortless SSO and User Management, But Pricing Could Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toshim S. | Sr. Analyst, Partner Revenue Strategy & Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like how Okta makes single sign-on (SSO) and user management work smoothly, ensuring seamless access and avoiding the need for multiple logins. Managing logins, permissions, and user onboarding or offboarding is simplified as everything is handled in one place, which saves time and effort. The app integration feature connects all our tools easily, so we don't have to manage logins manually every day. The initial setup was super easy, which I really appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I find the pricing could be more flexible, and sometimes the advanced settings take time to understand. Better documentation or a simpler setup for advanced settings would be great.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for single sign-on and managing user access securely. It helps avoid access issues by centralizing logins, permissions, and user management, making onboarding and offboarding easier. SSO saves time by avoiding multiple logins, and app integration connects our tools seamlessly without daily manual login management.

 ### 34. Easy for Non-Tech Users, but Needs More Tutorials

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramya K. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I love how easy it is for non tech people to use it. I mean one doesn't have to be tech savvy to secure their identity.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

More tutorials would be great, instead of me going to online forums or googling to understand what to do..

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

from getting it integrated to SSO to tracking the access, blockers and flow to understand user behaviour, we benefit alot.

 ### 35. Secure, Easy Access Across PC and Mobile with Okta

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nabin K. | Activation Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta help us to keep our account more secure and easy to access when needed. I can connect my okta account both in PC and mobile very easily.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Setting up SSO and MFA for the first time can be very tricky, and the same interface needs to be verified multiple times. Also, sometimes an authentication failure pops up without clearly telling us what the main issue is.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to manage dozens of apps which have separate username and passwords and in such cases due to SSO login we can easily access the different platform very easily.

 ### 36. Easy to Use, Secure, and Keeps Everything Centralized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Easy to use, centralized info. Very secure.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I hate that I have to download it on my phone to enter it. I know there are other ways but I don't have access to them and I wish there was a way that didn't depend on my company giving me a YubiKey.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to have 10 million passwords to access mt tool-stack so saves me time in clicking Forget password a lot.

 ### 37. Robust, Multi-Layer Security You Can Trust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It offers a robust depth of security. Ultimately, you need several security mechanisms in place before you can authenticate into a system.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

There aren’t enough options to recover my account if I forget my password, and that can be really challenging.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ultimate outcome of using Okta is peace of mind that no one outside the organization can compromise access to our business systems.

 ### 38. Straightforward Okta SSO SAML Integration That Streamlined Our Logins

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I used Okta for SAML integration through Single Sign-On across our multiple web applications. It was very straightforward to integrate Okta into our apps. By using Okta, we streamlined the login process for our users, so they don’t have to remember a separate login ID and password for our applications.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

If we don’t use the settings frequently, we tend to forget how to use them. Some advanced features are not always intuitive to configure and require time to fully understand.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps us address identity and access management challenges by offering a centralised way to manage user authentication, single sign-on, and access control across multiple applications. Before we adopted Okta, managing user access was largely manual and prone to errors, especially when people joined the company, changed roles, or left the organisation.

With Okta in place, onboarding and offboarding are faster and more secure, and access policies are applied consistently across our applications. Single sign-on has improved the user experience while reducing password-related issues, and multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security without hurting usability. Overall, Okta has strengthened security, reduced administrative overhead, and made it easier for us to manage access at scale.

 ### 39. Streamlined Access with Improved Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashant M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like Okta because it makes logging into multiple apps easy with single sign-on. Its multi-factor authentication adds strong security. It works especially well in remote and hybrid work scenarios where employees need secure access to many apps from different locations. Single sign-on saves time by reducing repeated logins, while multi-factor authentication improves daily security without slowing down work. Single sign-on helps by letting me access all applications with one login, which saves time and reduces password fatigue. Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security, protecting accounts from unauthorized access while still keeping the login process simple.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Some Okta features can feel complex to configure, especially for new users. The admin interface could be more intuitive, and pricing can be high for smaller teams. Setting up advanced policies and integrations can take time, especially for first-time admins. Clearer guidance, simpler workflows, and a more user-friendly admin dashboard would make configuration easier and faster.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for secure user authentication and single sign-on. It reduces password issues, enables secure application access, and saves time by allowing one login for all apps. It's great for remote work and enhances security with multi-factor authentication.

 ### 40. Okta Delivers Seamless Integration and Effortless Ease of Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn M. | Senior Security Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Seamless integration with our systems and ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

So far I haven't found any downsides to using Okta.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Confirming access to our network and verifying credentials.

 ### 41. Smooth, Reliable SSO with Flexible Authentication Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like how smooth is the single sign on, it is not flaky at all like other tools. Also I like how it has different options to authenticate like password, verify application and the new feature that allows you to identify with biomtrics from the mac

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

On the mobile okta verify app, sometimes is tricky to accept the push notification on an iphone, having to swipe to accept the notification sometimes does not work as expected.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

allowing me to save time when I need to switch from one app to another without the need to log in again, or do verifications again.

 ### 42. Perfect Solution for Secure Remote Authentication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish G. | Data Platform Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like using Okta for multi-factor authentication and secure access for users. It's really useful since we have a number of servers and many remote users, which creates identity issues. Okta's multi-factor authentication helps us validate users, and identity access and verification are critical for our business and security. I find the usability aspect very beneficial too. Setting it up was easy; it provides a scan code that can be scanned with a mobile, making the setup process very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I think Okta is very much perfect. Gradually, they are improving a lot. If they can provide details on which user is accessing or verifying their detail from the which geography locations on a particular map and integrate a GIS system, that would be great.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for multi-factor authentication and secure access for various users, solving remote identity issues. It ensures security through user validation, and easily integrates with tools like Slack and Microsoft 365.

 ### 43. Effortless and Secure Single Sign-On Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark F. | Research Program Senior Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta is very easy to use, allowing me to just have one login at the start of the day, and it's usually smooth even when I get logged out. I can access all the software I need to do my job, which is really convenient. I mostly value their marquee feature, which lets me log into multiple accounts from a single login. It's been helpful for requesting certain software from corporate. The initial setup was easy, and it integrates with other software as a login function. Honestly, it's pretty good overall.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It did take some time to get logged in on my first try, especially if you're not used to it

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for securely accessing company software without typing multiple passwords, consolidating all login information. It's easy to use with one login, giving me access to all the software I need for my job.

 ### 44. Streamlines Access Across Platforms Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily G. | Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I love Okta because it doesn't require me to sign in to each software individually, which saves me so much time. I just use my thumbprint to access the solution, and then I'm pretty much logged in to all of them. It helps me start my day off on the right note and saves time throughout my day without any friction or holdups while working. I also like the ease of use and find the Google Chrome add-on very helpful because it allows me to easily switch between different tools I use throughout my day, saving me time from not having to go through bookmarks to access specific software. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

N/A

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta saves me so much time by allowing me to access various software without logging into each one individually. I just use my thumbprint, which helps start my day smoothly and reduces friction. The Google Chrome add-on also saves time switching between different applications.

 ### 45. Simple, Secure SSO—But Phone Code Verification Can Block Access

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole A. | Sr. Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is that it makes logging into work apps simple and secure. You can sign in once and access everything you need without remembering a bunch of passwords. It keeps accounts safe by adding extra security checks only when they’re needed. It also works smoothly with most tools companies already use. Overall, it just works in the background and makes everyone’s day easier.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I dislike that our Okta setup requires me to verify a code on my phone every time. If my phone is dead or I forget it, I’m completely locked out and can’t log in at all. It makes access too dependent on having my phone available.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves the problem of having too many usernames and passwords by letting me log in once and access all my work apps. It keeps my accounts secure by adding extra protection, like verification steps, to prevent unauthorized access. This helps protect company data without me having to manage security myself. It also saves time because I don’t have to reset passwords or log into each app separately. Overall, it makes accessing work tools simpler and safer.

 ### 46. Flexible Dual Factor Authentication, Minor Setup Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cole K. | intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like the flexibility for dual factor with Okta. It doesn't require me to choose one specific dual factor method, which is great because I can decide based on my flexibility or where I am. This flexibility makes using two-factor authentication less of an inconvenience, as dual factor can sometimes be hard to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Sometimes the dual factor can be really hard to navigate. Also, the frequency with which I have to use dual factor might be too much, though I don't think that's Okta's fault; I think that's set by my school. The setup wasn't too bad, but it took a little while, and I didn't really know there were multiple ways to have dual factor initially. The complexity of the secondary questions and the information needed on my behalf were challenging.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for dual verification sign-ins at school, providing flexibility in choosing dual factor options, making it less inconvenient.

 ### 47. Streamlined Access with Enhanced Security

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah A. | Senior Product Marketing Manager - Agent Platform, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I use Okta for everything! I like how you simply can use the Chrome Extension for every platform our IT team has set up for us. It's easier and faster and safer to log in via Okta. Now with Okta, it's increased speed of logging in, and having the security code to enter makes it safer and faster to log in without having to enter my credentials every time. It's our Single Sign On for all platforms like logging into Salesforce, Pendo, Optimizely, Caliber Minds, UserFlow, UserVoice, and so much more. We have a one-stop shop for logging in. It also reminds us when it's time to change our passwords.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It can be annoying to get daily reminders when it's time to change your Okta password, but I understand the intent behind it.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta as a one-stop shop for logging into all our platforms, making it faster and safer to access tools like Salesforce and Optimizely. It simplifies login processes with Single Sign-On and security codes, and reminds us when to change passwords, enhancing efficiency and security.

 ### 48. Streamlines Access with Seamless Provisioning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayson S. | Test Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that we can use SCIM provisioning with Okta, as it enables a faster onboarding/offboarding process. It makes it easier to onboard and offboard users across multiple applications without having to click through each one for removal. The ability to upload key features of a user's profile, such as department and role, into whatever application they need to be onboarded into or off from is also really useful.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Definitely, how we upload that information, I think that is a larger conversation, however, just so that way we can, gather more information from, where we get our, informations from our HRIS system. So that way, we're able to, upload more detailed, information when it comes to a user's overall profile, such as region, location, things of that nature.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta to streamline the login process, allowing users to use a single set of credentials for multiple apps. Scheme provisioning enables faster operations, letting us onboard and offboard users efficiently without manually handling each application.

 ### 49. Seamless SSO Login That Eliminates Password Hassles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clarence O. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Seamless login experience (SSO)

Okta’s Single Sign-On means one login gives you access to multiple apps.
Why that’s great: You don’t have to juggle dozens of passwords, and it reduces login friction a lot.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Since Okta sits in front of everything, if there’s an outage or login issue, you’re basically locked out of all your tools.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: Password-only security is easy to compromise.
Solution: Multi-factor authentication (MFA), adaptive policies, device checks.

 ### 50. Secure and Easy-to-Use Login Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I use Okta for secure logins to my carrier and AMS. I find it easy to use with just one click to log in, which makes things straightforward. The initial setup was very simple, so getting started didn't take much effort. It really helps with security within the office and allows us to keep our client's information secure.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It doesn't pair with some sites. More availability would be nice. Added features for secure credit cards or other information would be nice.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for secure logins and to keep our client's information secure. It's easy to use with one-click logins.
