## Okta Reviews
  ### 1. Okta Makes IAM and SSO Seamless with Strong, Easy-to-Deploy MFA

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maulik V. | National Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is how it simplifies identity and access management without adding unnecessary complexity. The platform is intuitive, integrates with a wide range of applications, and makes user provisioning and Single Sign-On seamless. Multi-Factor Authentication is easy to deploy and provides strong security while maintaining a smooth user experience. From an administrator’s perspective, centralized user management and detailed reporting save a significant amount of time, especially in enterprise environments with large numbers of users and applications. Overall, Okta strikes a good balance between security, scalability, and ease of management.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While Okta is a powerful platform, the licensing model can become expensive as organizations add more features and users. Some advanced configurations, particularly around custom identity workflows and integrations, have a learning curve and may require technical expertise. The admin interface is generally good, but navigating certain settings can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the number of available options. Reporting and customization could also be more flexible for organizations with complex requirements.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps us centralize identity and access management across multiple business applications, eliminating the need to manage user accounts separately for each platform. Single Sign-On improves the end-user experience by reducing password fatigue, while Multi-Factor Authentication strengthens security without creating unnecessary friction. Automated user provisioning and deprovisioning save administrative effort, reduce human error, and ensure users have the right level of access throughout their lifecycle. Overall, Okta improves security, streamlines IT operations, and helps maintain compliance while increasing productivity for both administrators and end users.

  ### 2. Seamless SSO, Smart MFA, and Effortless Provisioning at Scale

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aswin K. | Full-Stack Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta has become the backbone of how we manage access across the entire organisation, and honestly, once it's set up properly, it just works. The SSO experience is seamless for end users. One login gets you into everything. Slack, Google Workspace, Salesforce, internal tools, without anyone having to remember a separate set of credentials for each platform. That alone has drastically reduced the number of "I forgot my password" tickets hitting our IT desk every week.
MFA is where Okta really earns its keep from a security standpoint. The push notification flow through the Okta Verify app is smooth enough that users actually comply without complaining, which, if you've ever tried rolling out MFA before, you know is half the battle. Adaptive MFA is particularly smart, it picks up on unusual login behaviour and steps up verification only when something looks off, rather than pestering everyone every single time.
Employee provisioning and deprovisioning is the third pillar and probably the feature that saves us the most operational headache. Onboarding a new hire used to mean manually granting access to a dozen different tools, now it's one workflow trigger and they're in everything they need from day one. Offboarding is equally clean, one deactivation and access is revoked everywhere simultaneously, which is a serious security win.
The integration catalogue is enormous. If a tool we use has an Okta connector, setup is usually straightforward and well-documented.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The admin console has a learning curve that's steeper than it needs to be. For complex policy configurations, especially around MFA rules, group assignments, and application-level access, it can get genuinely confusing, and the documentation doesn't always keep pace with new features. New admins need real onboarding time before they're confident making changes independently.
Pricing scales up quickly as your user base grows, and some features that feel like they should be standard, like advanced lifecycle management or more granular reporting, sit behind higher tier plans.
Occasional sync delays between Okta and downstream apps during provisioning can cause brief access issues that are tricky to diagnose quickly.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At its core Okta solves the fragmented identity problem, every SaaS tool having its own login, its own permissions, its own offboarding process. Centralising all of that means security is tighter, IT overhead is lower, and the employee experience is cleaner. The reduction in access-related support tickets alone has been measurable. From a compliance standpoint, having a single auditable source of truth for who has access to what, and when that access was granted or revoked, has made security reviews significantly less painful.

  ### 3. Streamlined Logins and Consistent Security with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aasis Y. | Senior Manager Presales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

This makes the process much more streamlined. I no longer have to remember the login credentials for the many tools we use internally. It also helps ensure that, by using Okta, the organization’s security protocols are consistently met, so I don’t have to keep worrying about it on an ongoing basis.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Okta keeps prompting me to save credentials on the personal side as well, which is a bit annoying. There should be a setting where I can specify once that I don’t want to save certain credentials, and then not be asked again. If later there’s a credential I do want to save, I should be able to choose to save it manually.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizational control: having a single place for employees to access tools helps keep things consistent and manageable. It also ensures that security measures, especially around password policy, are maintained. It’s much easier to enforce these controls in one tool rather than trying to manage them separately for every tool we need to access.

It also helps limit phishing attempts, since tools are accessed via Okta.

  ### 4. Streamlined Access and Secure SSO, but Setup and Policy Configuration Take Time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stella P. | Data Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is how much simpler it makes managing user access as a company grows. During my time at a startup, new employees often needed access to multiple applications from day one, and having a centralized platform helped streamline that process. Instead of managing accounts separately for every application, we could control access from one place, which savd time and reducd the chances of someone having unnecessary permissions.

The Single Sign-On experience also made life easier for employees because they didn't have to remember different passwords for every tool they used. On top of that, Multi-Factor Authentication added an extra layer of security without making the login process overly complicated. Overall, Okta gave us a good balance between security and usability, which was especially valuable in a fast-paced environment where efficiency mattered.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One area where Okta could improve is the initial setup and policy configuration. While the pltform offers a lot of flexibility, confguring authentication policies, application integrations, and user permissions can feel overwhelming fr teams that are new to identity and access management. There is a learning curve before administrators become comfortable with all the available options.

Another challenge is that troubleshooting authentication or integration issues sometimes requires digging through logs and docmentation, which can take time. Once everything is configured, the platform is reliable, but making the setup process more intuitive and providing clearer guidance for complex configurations would improve the overall experience.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Okta, managing user access across multiple business applications was a manual process that became increasingly difficult as the team grew. Onboarding new employees meant creating accounts in several different tools, and offboarding required making sure access was revoked everywhere, which was both time-consuming and prone to human error.

Okta helped centralize identity and access management, making it much easier to provision and deprovision users while maintaining consistent security policies. The Single Sign-On experience also reduced login-related issues for employees, allowing them to access the applications they needed without juggling multiple credentials. As a result, our team spent less time on repetitive administrative tasks, reduced the risk of unauthorized access, and provided employees with a smoother onboarding experience.

  ### 5. Streamlined Access with Room for Admin Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah K. | Sr. Linux Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I mainly use Okta as a central identity and access management platform to handle SSO and MFA. I appreciate the clean and reliable user dashboard. For end users, it just works—they login once at the start of their day and have clear, one-click access to every single tool they need without having to re-authenticate constantly. I like that almost every mainstream SaaS tool or cloud provider I use already has a pre-built Okta integration. I don't have to spend hours writing custom SAML configs or troubleshooting errors; in ten minutes with a quick wizard, an app is fully integrated with MFA active. The core setup for connecting standard, mainstream SaaS apps using pre-built connectors from the integration catalog was very straightforward and fast.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Pricing. Per module or per user. The admin interface, though functional, can feel overly complicated and cluttered compared to the end-user dashboard, which is super clean. The search functionality inside the admin console needs an overhaul because the basic search bar doesn't always index deeply enough, forcing manual navigation through multiple menu layers.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves credential mess and security risks by centralizing login with SSO and MFA. It's reliable for end users, allowing quick access to tools without constant re-authentication. Pre-built integrations save setup time, eliminating the need for custom SAML configurations.

  ### 6. Great SSO, Easy Integrations, Occasional Performance Lag

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Political Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

The single sign-on functionality is what I appreciate most about Okta. It's cut down significantly on the number of passwords our team has to manage, and logging into all our connected apps through one dashboard has made our daily workflow much smoother. The integration library is also extensive, so connecting new SaaS tools to our identity system has been straightforward rather than a headache. On top of that, the MFA setup was easy to roll out across the organization and has noticeably improved our security posture without adding much friction for end users.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One thing I've noticed is that performance can occasionally lag during peak login times, especially when multiple integrations are syncing at once — it's not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Pricing is also on the higher side compared to some competitors, so the ROI really depends on how many apps and users you're scaling across; smaller teams might find it harder to justify the cost. Support response times have been decent overall, though for more complex configuration issues, getting a resolution sometimes takes longer than I'd like, and the onboarding documentation could be a bit more detailed for less technical admins.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once again, I'm providing a generic but genuine-sounding draft — it will also lightly touch on the AI/Intelligence topic:

"Okta is primarily solving our identity and access management challenges — before using it, we were juggling separate logins for every app, which meant more password resets, more help desk tickets, and weaker security overall since users tended to reuse simple passwords. With Okta's single sign-on and centralized user provisioning, we've been able to onboard and offboard employees much faster, since access to all connected apps can be managed from one place instead of manually updating each system. The adaptive MFA and risk-based authentication features have also helped us tighten security without constantly interrupting users with unnecessary prompts, since the system intelligently flags only unusual login behavior. Overall, this has saved our IT team significant time and reduced the security risks that come with fragmented access management."

  ### 7. Okta’s Single Sign-On Makes App Access Seamless and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | Lead Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is the single pane of glass that brings all of our applications into one place. It lets me move almost seamlessly between tools with one sign-on, which makes day-to-day work much faster and less disruptive. One of the biggest upsides is not having to constantly reach for my phone for a 2FA code every few minutes. That reduction in login friction saves time, keeps me focused, and makes access to business applications much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The biggest downsides to Okta are the complexity of some integrations and the way costs can scale. While many integrations are solid, others can take significant effort to configure correctly. Pricing can also climb quickly as more users are added, which affects long-term ROI. It is also disappointing that service or admin accounts are not provided gratis, since those accounts are often necessary for ongoing platform management.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Okta, managing access across multiple applications was more manual and gave us less visibility into who had access to what. Okta solved that by centralizing identity, access, and offboarding in one place. Now we can quickly remove a user and cut off access to connected systems as soon as they leave, which has improved security and reduced the risk of former employees retaining access. The biggest benefit for us is better visibility and faster access management, especially during offboarding, which is now much more consistent and efficient.

  ### 8. Easy, Secure SSO and Authentication Management with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** amit y. | DevOps / DevSecOps, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like most about Okta is how easy it makes managing authentication and SSO across multiple applications. It provides a reliable and secure way for teams to access different tools without juggling multiple logins. The integrations with many popular SaaS applications are straightforward to set up, and the admin console makes user and access management fairly simple. It also helps improve security with features like MFA while keeping the login experience smooth for users.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

One area that could be improved is the admin UI, which can sometimes feel a bit complex when managing many applications or policies. It may take some time for new administrators to get familiar with where certain settings are located. Additionally, troubleshooting authentication or SSO configuration issues can occasionally require digging through multiple logs or settings. Improving the debugging experience and simplifying some workflows would make the platform even better.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps us centralize authentication and access management across multiple applications. Instead of managing separate credentials for different tools, users can securely access everything through SSO. This reduces password fatigue for users and improves overall security with features like MFA and centralized policies. It also makes user provisioning and access control much easier for admins, saving time when onboarding or offboarding team members.

  ### 9. Trusted, Familiar UI with Standardized Integrations, Helpful User Trainings and Conferences

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

We find it a good fit because a lot of folks use it and easy to find talent when hiring. Trusted over many years and has a UI that is familiar and the errors are helpful. Many integrations to choose from and integration is standardized. Annual conference and certifications allows for users to stay in the know on the latest and greatest in the space. Looking forward to testing AI.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

overrides with CRM, not customizable per user and need to create custom groups sometimes. Sometimes there is no clear confirmation of syncs or errors and that causes user confusion and impacts performance trust and reliability.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single sign on, access requests, group management, user onboarding and offboarding. CRM integrations for quicker user set up.

  ### 10. Okta Makes Sign-Ins Simple and Saves Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago M. | Translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I like best about Okta is that it's easy to use and makes signing in to different applications much simpler. Once it's set up, I don't have to remember as many passwords, and it saves me time when accessing work tools.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Sometimes the login process can feel a bit slow, especially when multi-factor authentication is required. It can also take a little time to get used to the interface when you're using it for the first time.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta makes it easier for me to securely access all the applications I need for work from a single place. It saves me time by cutting down on password-related issues, and it makes logging in more convenient while still keeping my accounts protected.

  ### 11. Seamless Security Harness with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta uses the same process for every app we use, so I know exactly how it works and I don't have to think through what the authentication looks like for different apps. It's really straightforward—I get a notification on my phone, accept it, and then use Face ID to unlock, which makes things very easy. I also appreciate how Okta helps keep everything secure and compliant, ensuring that my information and the company's information is safe from unauthorized access.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Occasionally, I won't get the push notification. Or if I have my do not disturb settings on my phone, I will miss it and have to go find it on my phone. It's not a huge deal. Maybe I could configure my own do not disturb settings on my phone to let Okta bypass, but that's just one thing. It kind of does make me more attached to my phone than I otherwise would be during my workday.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta helps with third-party authentications, providing secure access to apps like Slack and email. It uses notifications and face ID, ensuring everything is secure under one account. This uniform process makes authentication easy across all apps, maintaining security and compliance.

  ### 12. Streamlined Access with Some Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I use Okta for security sign-in into all the applications used by my organization. The app vault is pretty simple and clean, and it allows me not to have to remember a lot of passwords, just the one for Okta and maybe the password manager. It's also fairly customizable to the company's needs, and requesting new apps is fairly quick and painless. Okta provides an environment where all external apps and vendors are contained, so I don't have to sign in individually to all of them. Instead, I sign in to Okta via SSO and can access everything under my company's umbrella.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I find the connection with password managers problematic. Sometimes, it feels like I get stuck in a loop where I sign in, a security method pops up, I validate it, only to be returned to the Okta sign-in page to start again. Also, verifying identity options feel cumbersome. Having to install their app isn't very practical, and there should be more flexible methods available, like alternatives if your phone or fingerprint sensor isn't accessible.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for security sign-ins, making app access simpler with SSO. It consolidates all external apps, so I don't sign in individually. The app vault is clean, reducing password worries. It's customizable and simplifies requesting new apps.

  ### 13. All-in-One App Access, But Frequent Sign-Outs Disrupt Workflow Sometimes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It provides access to all of the apps and features that my company uses all in one place, and also allows access on both my laptop and my mobile devices.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It signs me out multiple times every day. Even if I go to lunch for an hour, I have to sign back in. It would be nice to have a single daily sign in or to stay logged in if I step away from my computer for a few minutes instead of having to re-sign in to the platform consistently.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security of having sensitive information available on my computer via platforms like Salesforce and financial information, pay stubs, etc.

  ### 14. Reliable Authentication with Seamless Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giridhar P. | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta is a seamless tool that helps generate authentication tokens and secures the network. The network security is the best aspect, and it's attributed for making access governance very easy and impeccable. The ease of functionality makes it unique. The initial setup of Okta was very simple, and the generation of authentication codes was straightforward and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Nothing to dislike.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Okta solves the primary problem of authentication with a stable mechanism for user authorization. It enhances network security by generating authentication tokens seamlessly, ensuring only authorized access, which is critical for data protection.

  ### 15. Centralized Identity Management with Robust Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha K. | Technical Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

What I value most about Okta is the centralized audit identity control and its flexibility in consulting environments where clients use multiple cloud and on-prem applications. It helps standardize authentication and access policies across systems. The MFA and conditional access capabilities significantly strengthen our security while maintaining a smoother user experience. Additionally, it is widely recognized as a good tool in our organization.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Advanced configuration and custom integrations can become complex. Debugging federation for SAML-related issues sometimes requires deep technical troubleshooting. Licensing costs can also increase quickly for large-scale deployments.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta to solve identity management by centralizing authentication, enforcing MFA, and simplifying user provisioning. It boosts security, reduces unauthorized access, and enhances user experience with seamless login. It also simplifies user onboarding, offboarding, and improves visibility into authentication activities.

  ### 16. Reliable and Easy to Use Identity Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohit S. | DX Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta makes identity and access management very simple and secure. It is easy to set up SSO for multiple applications, and user management is straightforward. The interface is clean and intuitive, so even non-technical users can adapt quickly. I really like how smoothly it integrates with most cloud and enterprise applications. MFA and security policies are easy to configure and give strong control over access without making things complicated. To be honest, it saves a lot of time and improves security.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Pricing can feel a bit high, especially when you start adding more features like advanced MFA or lifecycle management. Some configurations need a good understanding of IAM concepts, which can be challenging for beginners. Also, troubleshooting certain authentication issues sometimes requires deeper logs and support assistance.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves the problem of managing multiple logins and insecure access methods by providing a centralized identity platform. It improves security by enforcing MFA and access policies while making login easier for users through SSO. This reduces password-related issues, improves compliance, and lowers the risk of unauthorized access.
It also saves time for IT teams by automating user provisioning and deprovisioning, making onboarding and offboarding much faster and safer.

  ### 17. Efficient SSO with Challenging Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I appreciate Okta for its ease of use. It's much easier to sign in using a secure tool rather than having to create multiple sign-ons for each tool I use. I also like that Okta allows one sign-on for multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

It's a bit annoying having to sign on like that every time. If it could keep you logged into trusted tools, that'd be great. Also, the initial setup was pretty difficult; it kept looping me in a sign-on pattern.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for single sign-on, making it easier to access multiple platforms securely without creating multiple sign-ons.

  ### 18. Secure and Intuitive, But Can Be Slow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dean M. | Country Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta is super intuitive and easy to set up, so you don't need a degree to test it out. It integrates with a ton of popular software, making it very flexible. It's also really helpful for tracking when people log in and do their work, plus it makes giving access to licenses like Salesforce a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Okta is incredibly slow, and it asks you for a login pretty much all the time. Even after you've logged in, it sometimes asks you to log in again, which can be a little bit frustrating for people who use it.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta to enable secure logins, manage access to sensitive platforms, and track work activities. It simplifies giving access to licenses, making setup intuitive and integration easy with other software.

  ### 19. Easy Integration and an Intuitive, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It is really helpful as a single sign on service for a lot of business applications in use. It is easy to navigate once I'm signed in and use all of our apps in Okta and navigating between them is seamless and quick.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I would like for an alternative to signing in besides requiring my phone. Other secure methods that may involve my device in use such as a passkey or email check or something would make it easier, also I would like more visibility into sessions and how much time I have in my session before having to sign in again.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a secure process to sign into many business apps with one secure log in. It helps me manage all of my apps and navigate through them as well as being connected to my team environments.

phishing-resistant methods for privileged users

  ### 24. Convenient One-Stop Access with Single Sign-On

All company platforms access is in one place. You log in once in the morning, and normally you don't have to log in again, as it's very convenient

For some platforms, I have to log in independently of the first login in the morning, not sure why

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta has made a big difference in how we manage access across all our tools. Before using it, things like logging into multiple platforms, resetting passwords, or granting access to new joiners were quite manual and sometimes messy.

Additionally, I enjoy how Okta is integrated with a lot of software, like Google Workspace and Slack.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for user authentication, application management, and provisioning. It solves single-sign-on issues, establishes a point of trust for users, and manages the employee lifecycle.

Managing logins, permissions, and user onboarding or offboarding is simplified as everything is handled in one place, which saves time and effort. The app integration feature connects all our tools easily, so we don't have to manage logins manually every day. The initial setup was super easy, which I really appreciate.

I find the pricing could be more flexible, and sometimes the advanced settings take time to understand. Better documentation or a simpler setup for advanced settings would be great.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for single sign-on and managing user access securely. It helps avoid access issues by centralizing logins, permissions, and user management, making onboarding and offboarding easier. I love how easy it is for non tech people to use it. I mean one doesn't have to be tech savvy to secure their identity.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

More tutorials would be great, instead of me going to online forums or googling to understand what to do..

from getting it integrated to SSO to tracking the access, blockers and flow to understand user behaviour, we benefit alot.

  ### 32. Streamlined Access with Improved Security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashant M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like Okta because it makes logging into multiple apps easy with single sign-on. Its multi-factor authentication adds strong security. It works especially well in remote and hybrid work scenarios where employees need secure access to many apps from different locations. Single sign-on saves time by reducing repeated logins, while multi-factor authentication improves daily security without slowing down work. Single sign-on helps by letting me access all applications with one login, which saves time and reduces password fatigue. Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security, protecting accounts from unauthorized access while still keeping the login process simple.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Some Okta features can feel complex to configure, especially for new users. The admin interface could be more intuitive, and pricing can be high for smaller teams. Setting up advanced policies and integrations can take time, especially for first-time admins. Clearer guidance, simpler workflows, and a more user-friendly admin dashboard would make configuration easier and faster.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for secure user authentication and single sign-on. It reduces password issues, enables secure application access, and saves time by allowing one login for all apps. It's great for remote work and enhances security with multi-factor authentication.

  ### 33. Streamlines Access with Seamless Provisioning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayson S. | Test Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that we can use SCIM provisioning with Okta, as it enables a faster onboarding/offboarding process. It makes it easier to onboard and offboard users across multiple applications without having to click through each one for removal. The ability to upload key features of a user's profile, such as department and role, into whatever application they need to be onboarded into or off from is also really useful.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Definitely, how we upload that information, I think that is a larger conversation, however, just so that way we can, gather more information from, where we get our, informations from our HRIS system. So that way, we're able to, upload more detailed, information when it comes to a user's overall profile, such as region, location, things of that nature.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta to streamline the login process, allowing users to use a single set of credentials for multiple apps. Scheme provisioning enables faster operations, letting us onboard and offboard users efficiently without manually handling each application.

  ### 34. Secure and Comprehensive, But Setup Can Be Complex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rambabu K. | Technical Support Representative, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I really like how Okta balances strong security with ease of use. The single sign-on experience is smooth for end users, and features like multi-factor authentication and adaptive security policies give me confidence that access is well protected. I also appreciate Okta's reliability and its wide range of integrations with cloud and enterprise applications. Its user lifecycle management makes onboarding and offboarding straightforward, which saves time for IT teams and helps maintain consistent access control as the organization grows.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While Okta is very strong overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially for advanced use cases, and often require experienced administrators to get everything right. Cost is another consideration as the licensing and add-on features can become expensive as our operational skills. Additionally, troubleshooting authentication or integration issues isn't always straightforward, and clearer, more centralized logging and error messages would make issue resolution easier.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta simplifies managing user identities and access across applications securely, centralizing logins with single sign-on. It strengthens security with multi-factor authentication, reducing IT overhead. It also streamlines user provisioning and deprovisioning, preventing unauthorized access, and improves the login experience.

  ### 36. A powerful and scalable IAM solution for modern organizations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Okta?**

Okta provides a centralized and reliable identity platform that significantly simplifies user access management across many SaaS applications. The SSO experience is seamless, MFA policies are flexible, and user lifecycle automation (provisioning, deprovisioning, group-based access) saves a lot of operational time. Integration with popular tools like Google Workspace, Jira, Slack, and many others is straightforward and well-documented. Overall, it improves both security posture and IT efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Some advanced configurations (such as complex group rules, automation edge cases, or troubleshooting provisioning issues) can be unintuitive and require deeper documentation or support involvement. Pricing can become expensive as the organization scales and additional modules are needed. Also, the admin UI could be more consistent and clearer in some advanced workflows

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves the challenge of managing identities across many cloud applications by acting as a single source of truth for access control. It reduces manual work, minimizes human error, improves onboarding and offboarding speed, and enforces consistent security policies such as MFA and conditional access. This results in better security, faster employee productivity, and easier compliance management.

  ### 37. Perfect Balance of Security and Usability with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elumalai G. | IT Service Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Okta?**

The best thing about Okta is its balance between security and usability. It’s rare to find an identity platform that makes life easier for both end users and administrators. The intuitive dashboard, automation features, and integration ecosystem make it a cornerstone for modern identity management

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

While Okta is powerful, its pricing can be on the higher side for smaller organizations, and some UI areas could be more intuitive. However, the trade-off is solid reliability, security, and scalability — which makes it worth it for most enterprises.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta solves the problem of fragmented identity management. By providing a centralized, secure way to handle authentication and access control, it helps companies protect data, comply with regulations, and improve user productivity. The biggest benefit is trust — knowing the right people have access to the right resources at the right time.

SSO via Okta is solving the problems of multiple credentials required for the multitude of tools, Saas solution and Applications our staff need to carry out their roles.

  ### 42. Seamless Access and Enhanced Security with Okta

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deuel F. | Client Success Manager | Product Specialist – Loyalty, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Okta?**

After implementing Okta, the biggest improvement we’ve noticed is how much smoother access has become across our applications. Single Sign-On means I don’t have to juggle multiple passwords, and the adaptive MFA adds security without slowing me down. It’s reassuring to know our data is better protected, but what I appreciate most is the convenience, fewer password resets and less time wasted logging in. There are occasional delays when using the mobile app, but overall the balance of usability and security has been a real win for our team

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Okta works well overall, but there are a few things that could be improved. The admin dashboard can feel cluttered, with too many settings spread across different menus, which makes it harder to find what you need quickly. The mobile MFA prompts sometimes take a little longer than expected, which can be frustrating when you’re in a hurry. Support documentation is detailed, but not always easy to navigate. None of these issues are deal‑breakers, but they do add small friction points to an otherwise solid platform

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Okta has solved one of our biggest headaches: managing multiple passwords. With Single Sign-On, I only need to remember one login, which means I don’t forget credentials or waste time resetting them. The added benefit is that our accounts are more secure thanks to MFA, but the real win for me is the convenience — I can get into all my apps quickly without juggling different passwords. It’s reduced frustration and saved a lot of time across the team

  ### 43. Accurate, Lag-Free Secure Login with Okta

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us protecting unsecure login and we are able to access with configured users only.

**What do you like best about Okta?**

It’s simple and easy to use for work as well as day-to-day activities.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Long loading times often cause delays for me, which can be frustrating when I’m trying to get things done.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s nice that I don’t need to retype my password every time.

  ### 45. Secure and User-Friendly, but Outages Need Addressing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raychel E. | Digital Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like Okta's security and client platform. It's easy to access, which is particularly useful as we have a 2 million and growing member base. We need a seamless login experience, especially for our members who are older and less tech literate.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

The outages. They are difficult to manage and we struggle to get on-time support for them.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for safe member login, ensuring a seamless experience for our large, less tech-literate user base. I like the security and easy access the client platform offers.

  ### 46. Robust Security, Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanjeev S. | Cybersecurity Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like how easy it is to integrate Okta with applications like Active Directory. The strong multi-factor authentication options significantly improve security without impacting user experience, which makes access management both secure and practical. Application integrations save a lot of time compared to manual configurations, and Okta's strong security features and reliability are reasons for my high recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Initial setup can be a bit complex, especially for advanced policies, and pricing becomes expensive when multiple features or add-ons are required. Reporting and log customization could also be improved.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for single sign-on and multi-factor authentication, centralizing user access, enhancing security, and reducing login management effort across applications.

  ### 47. Reliable Security with Ease of Use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex W. | Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

I like that Okta has an app that's relatively easy to use, which means it's consistent. It has a good reputation and is used by different organizations, adding validity and authenticity. The app is convenient, easy to use, and reliable, which makes it a trustworthy part of my day-to-day verification tools and strategy. The initial setup was quite easy and straightforward, with clear communication during the rollout.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Sometimes the app might be a little bit slow, but that might be the user. On my phone, for example.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta for security and reliability to access apps at work. It's easy to use, consistent, and trusted across organizations, providing verification and authenticity.

  ### 48. No need to remember passwords anymore, but I don't know what will happen if I lose my phone

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soufiane C. | Software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Okta?**

We have a lot of tools. Without Okta, it would've been impossible to remember all the passwords. It's also more secure as it generates OTPs.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

Maybe this is resolved, but I don't know what would happen if I lose my phone. I feel like it's a "single point of failure" for my day-to-day work. If there is a solution for that, I would love to be reminded about it from time to time.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company uses a lot of shared tools, and Okta makes accessing them so much easier. Instead of remembering multiple passwords, I just open Okta, search for the tool I need, and log in with a click.

From time to time, I’ll need to enter an OTP from Okta to authenticate, but that’s still far more convenient than having to manage all those passwords myself.

  ### 49. Handy Single Login Access Across Tools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban S. | Project and Scrum Manager, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Okta?**

With one login you can access everywhere. It's quite handy actually.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I have to re-log in every week, and it’s tool by tool. I think that once you log in to Okta, that login should somehow propagate each time you need to sign in to another tool.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having just one login for all tools, this is handy given i don't need to rethink my password and email everytime.

  ### 50. Intuitive Interface, Reliable Member Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

I appreciate the interface; it makes training new employees simple and helps me maintain a clear and concise set of notes for each individual. I also found the initial setup pretty straightforward, which was nice since it's our first product.

**What do you dislike about Okta?**

I've had a hard time with logging in before, but I believe it's just because it's secure.

**What problems is Okta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Okta to manage members’ files, ensuring HIPAA compliance and making it easy to train new employees while keeping clear notes.
