OKHERE is an automated daily wellness check for independent living communities. Each morning residents get a call or text and confirm they're OK with a quick reply. If someone doesn't respond, staff are alerted right away, so the team only follows up with the few residents who haven't checked in. Residents don't need an app or WiFi. OKHERE works on any phone, by call, text or Alexa, in English, Spanish, French, Cantonese and Mandarin. Residents can call in early on days they're heading out, or reply by text in their own words. More than 70 everyday replies are recognised, and anything concerning is flagged for staff as Urgent or Review. An optional passive-to-active upgrade uses motion sensors. When a sensor shows a resident is up and about, the call is skipped. When there's no activity, OKHERE switches to an active check and calls them. Staff get a live dashboard, instant alerts, per-staff alert preferences, daily summary emails, vacation handling and a full timestamped check-in history.
